So, my husband got a Vgo-V, and it was just a bit to big for me, so I got the smaller 280 Shogun, complete with mouth piece....well it keeps leaking the e-liquid out of the air holes. Is it suppose to do that? is that a defect maybe? I can only put one or 2 drops in at a time and it still leaks everywhere and I am carying it around in a paper towel and have used about 5 mL on maybe 20 hits....that doesn't seem right. Any help out there?

If you are using an atomizer, it sounds like you have flooded it. Take it off, and blow out all the juice into a paper towel. Once it's dry, try adding only 3 or 4 drops(on a dry atty only, once it's been primed, 2 drops should do). Also, wipe down your contacts on the battery and the atty. Wet contacts will kill performance.
That isn't right. Can you give us a link to the kit you got? The only shogun kit I have found is a regular 510 kit that comes with just an atomizer... if what you have is an atomizer, 3 drops is about the most you will get in there before it starts leaking all over. 5ml of juice in 20 puffs? That's crazy... get us a little more info and we can nail down the problem for sure!

CaCO3Girl it sounds like the middle piece, the one holding the juice, is leaking like a sieve. If you got another vgomizer with your kit, use it and see if you have the same issues. If not, contact the supplier you got the kit from.
Another option would be to find some decent cartomizers. It's like what you've got, but they have a cotton-like filler that holds on to the juice and won't leak all over the place. There are a lot of cartomizers to choose from, Boge 2.0's being very popular.

Uba nailed it. Flooded attys perform as you described. When you have leaking, poor vapor or flavor, take off the atty, blow contents into a tissue, roll up a piece of tissue or papertowel to get the excess out of the area where the battery meets the atty and you're ready to go again. I'd suggest not more than 2 drops after reattaching your atty. You've already got it primed with juice. Once you get it going again you can drip 3 drops and see how that goes. Some droppers are bigger than others. There's some fiddling but it's worth it. Good luck.
...Boge2.0s are very popular cartos(and seriously beat tanks for no fiddle vaping) but if your PV is a ciggy sized 510, they are too low a resistance and will kill batts(dead)...a 2.5 should be the minimum and 2.8-3 are better for the slim batt PVs....

I am totally new to the e-cig world, I am not clear on all the terminology yet. Here is what I know...I am using the vgomizer as sedateme clarified for the group. It is only a 280 mah battery, it does take a 510 connection....now for the things I am unsure of.
1. There is a small window in the top part, I assume that is the atomizer? Through this window you can actually SEE the amount of juice that is in there, the window is about 3/4 of an inch long, and fairly thin, so really I can just see what juice it is holding. I have never filled this window up even half way, so is it possible that I had flooding?
2. The directions were VERy unclear on how to load the atomizer. There literaly was a picture of a bottle inverted on top of it, and no words or instructions. I have tried to place a single drop in that hole and it takes forever for it to go down and even then I can't see it appear in the window. I have also tried to invert the bottle and directly blow the liquid in, then I can see it in the window but a LOT leaks out, I am assuming from the pressure. Is it possible I blew a gasket or soemthing, is there a gasket in there?
3. The way my e-cig is assembled it has a mouth piece, that looks like an old timey cigarette toper, and then the atomizer with the window and then the battery screws into the atomizer. Between the battery and the atomizer are several holes actually on the atomizer. If you block these holes with the rubber grip piece you can't pull in any air, THAT is where the liquid is leaking from.

The atomizer is just a coil that heats up, vaporizes your e-juice, and you inhale the vapor. The vgomizer is an atomizer, with a tank attached. It appears you should be able to fill that tank with 1ml of liquid, and vape away. Have you tried just filling the vgomizer with liquid, and vaping? The bottom holes that the juice leaks out of are necessary for airflow, and if you blow into it, that's the only place for the juice to go... try simply filling without blowing... does it still leak?
