I have an Inferno and bought cartos for them...the megas and the regulars.

But, for the life of me, I cannot get a good TH from them.

I've tried taking the silcone ring off and the 2nd one with the 2 holes off--no dice.

I've also tried it with a DT--no dice.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm strictly using the Inferno with the lr306 w/DT now.

Any ideas?

Wow, you live in Virginia but order a Ego clone all the way from Hawaii? lol..

I believe their cartos are the CE 2 ones from Royalsmokers (MicroCig). Depending on how current their model is, i never really got any performance out of the CE 2 cartos until the very latest revision 4 and only then when used properly. They don't wick as quickly as other cartos so you have to give them a break every now and then. Also, i find they don't do well at all with VG or high % VG blends. FWIW.

Hmmm, I use either 100% VG or high % of VG...that could be part of the issue then.

I was born in Hawaii, so I support my peeps!

as well you should!! Try thinning it a bit with some purified h2o or some Grain Alcohol. The GA will increase the TH a bit as well but add a bit to a small sample slowly so you don't get too much. The limited amount of wicking surface in those CE2 cartos can cause the atty to get dry quickly anyway and the thickness of VG liquid can make it worse. When they work, they work nice though.

Ya, I've done the "mods" to these CE2's and just end up back to using them "as-is". I'm running a menthol/mint blend through mine right now and it's working ok. After about 3-4 consecutive drags it's run itself a bit dry but I'm dealing with it. I think I made this particular bottle around 50/50 PG/VG.
