Have you found that your attys last longer before they taste burnt if you have a better juice? I'm 2 months in to vaping...I'm using the 510 and am not of the 'modder' lifestyle beyond the highping mod. I did try the highping mod and it worked wonderfully for me for one day, but then after that, it's been touch and go. I've found that within a day of cleaning my atty (before and after using highping) the vaping just makes me cough like crazy, or it's just unpleasant. I've been keeping my attys VERY CLEAN, and probably clean them more often that most people would. However, the constant refilling and eventual too-soon coughing from what I presume is a burnt atty makes me want to ask....DOES THE JUICE MAKE A DIFFERENCE as to how soon the unpleasantness comes in? If you'd like to know...I've been using GH1 juices. I started with unflavored (36 mg), then orange, cola, strawberry and vanilla (all 24 mg). I'm not sure of the PG/VG in them. If I use a 'better' juice, will it last longer before I have to totally clean my atty? I did try cutting my strawberry with some of the plain VG I'd ordered, but it doesn't help, so I'm not convinced it's the strength of the juice. Does my atty last longer if I have a fresher juice?

I have only used genuine joye Attys and the only time I've experienced a constant burnt taste is if the wick has been burnt from dry burning after the button suck on in my pocket. I dont have link but I'm sure if you look around here you can find a how to on removing your wick. I WOULD NOT TRY THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE A SPARE ATOMIZER!

Yep! It is most likely a burned wick issue. here is a good video on it.

I did this for the same reason because the burned flavor was just too harsh. Hope this helps and revives your burned tasting atties. If your juice are dark in color then that can certainly cause burned flavor.

Liquid is the base of many mishaps in vaping IMO. Being a former user of the HP mod prior to having to switch to 100% VG, I only occasionally got the dry taste from the atty. I used Dekang liquids which wicked well or DIY at 80/20 VG at most. The VG had to be cut 4/1 with distilled water to wick properly, with the HP mod.

I ran into problems after switching to all VG. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ikenvape/142394-equipment-longevity-vg-liquids.html (not to re-write the whole thing). Hope it helps.
