Is my normal 24mg juice going to be too strong in a rebuildable?

I can vape 24mg all day in a carto tank without issue. I rarely feel like I've had too much nic.

but I've read in a few places that in a rebuildable you should half your normal nicotine level, is/was that true for you?

I've got a kayfun and a dripper on the way that I'm excited to try out, and I've got a lot of juice on hand but it's all 24mg except for a couple small sample bottles.

thanks.

I started with 24 mg and am still there, even with a 0.5Ω RBA. I can get a hit or two and be good for 10-15 minutes before I subconsciously reach for another. I get a lot more work done. With a 2.0Ω carto, I can't put the mod down. So no, you don't have to cut back on the nic content… if you don't over think it, your body will cut back for you.

Cool, sounds like I may just end up hitting it less often.. That's fine with me. I chain vape every chance I get right now with a carto. Maybe I'll grab some 12mg or even 6mg on my next order for those times when I want to chain vape in front of the tv:vapor:

I started with 24mg nic in carto tanks at first but had to dropped down quite quickly. Got my first rebuildable and thought i would be good with 12 and even that was too much. Every now and then ill vape 12mg in a dripper for a nic buzz but generally it makes me uncomfrotable to vape anything but 6 anymore. Some people can handle it others cant. You may just have to try it and find out!

Thanks for the reply. I guess everyone is going to be different. I just hope I don't make myself nic sick lol. I used to chain vape 36mg every morning for an hour and then switch to 24mg so I think I have high tolerance. 36mg was the only way I could finally give up my one morning cigarette.

That morning cigarette is the hardest one to give up! That and while drinking. I started out with 24mg and it was fine for me for a long time. The moment i got into rebuildables though it changed like crazy. Probably had a lot to do with the fact that i quit smoking, started vaping and actually got into much better shape so my lungs were being exercised from running. My lungs just could not handle 24mg, 18mg, or even 12mg anymore.

I still vape 24mg myself - it's what I started out with. But in my RBA's (Kayfun, Taifun and Fogger) I tend to use 18mg juice instead. Tried 24mg in the Kayfun Lite when I first got it and it was too much for me, even with a 1.8 ohm ekowool wick. Now I mainly use 1.0-1.7 ohm cotton wicks in my RBA's and 18mg nic juice. I can't see myself going as low as 8 or 12mg though. But everyone is different. Best advice is to try it and see, not much help I know ;)

I had to drop down to 12mg but since doing that I've dropped it to 2mg and honestly, other than a noticeable drop in throat hit from 6mg to 2mg, I haven't noticed anything different. I don't even miss the throat hit I had. I highly doubt 2mg is doing much for me so I imagine before long I'll just sell off the rest of this nic.

IMO, its a good thing, why keep using so much nic if you can get by without it?

I was down to 12mg for a week or so after switching to rebuildables. Then I went back to 18-20mg again. I do get a buzz if I take too many puffs, but that's how I like it; not getting buzzed up all the time, but needing fewer puffs to get what I want. I do use a little bit less flavoring than I used to, tho. Too many of the store-bough liquids I used to enjoy are too heavy on the flavoring for my current tastes.

Edit: This is with gennies and/or a KFL. Not big on the drippers. I imagine I'd mix some weaker sauce if I was to go there.

I have never vaped 24mg, but started on 16/18 juices in clearos, cartos, etc. I was a pack/pack and half a day smoker.

My intent from the beginning was to slowly lower my nic levels. Once I started on rebuildable drippers and soon thereafter, rebuildable tanks, I quickly found that I needed to drop my nic level, probably for a couple reasons. One, the volume of vapor was much, much larger. Two, I'm a tinkerer, and found myself getting nauseous from vaping while tinkering.

I now am using 6mg nic juices in any of my drippers or rebuildable tank atomizers. I do have a mini-protank on a vision spinner that I only use a 12mg juice for vaping at work. Mostly because vaping in my work situation is limited, so the little extra kick is appreciated.

Thanks for the tips guys.

I built my first coil tonight on my dripper. 1.3ohm micro coil, 28ga kanthal, wicked with cotton. She fires pretty good on my provari and my new nemesis clone.

It definitely hits hard but I'm doing fine with the nicotine so far. I'm loving the more open draw compared to my tight cartos. I'm not used to such a thick warm vape but I like it so far.
