Got an rdna from ebay 2nd hand the other day. Everything works fine but I like my regulated mods to be authentic. Is there any way that I can check this? Thanks

Does it have a dna200 board? If yes then I would say it's authentic as why else would someone try to clone it with the correct board?
Haha I wish. No im afraid rdna40. rdna40, 2 good condition subtanks, 2 packs of cotton and 2 sets of Ni200. £40. I couldn't help myself.
Thanks @Paul lamb It says dna 40 when I put a battery in but that has been the extent of my investigation. Just wondered. If I was cloning boards surely it cant be that hard to make the chip say dna or whatever name you want. Thanks

If you bought it second-hand, I would presume it's out of warranty...pop open the hood and have a look underneath. I'm sure you can find a picture of a legit DNA40 board somewhere to compare it to.

Why don't you download escribe and customise it
escribe only works on DNA200 mods.
edit: @Zutankhamun scroll the wattage all the way down to 1W and hold the down button for a few seconds. You should get a unique code and the word "genuine".

BTW @inswva Do you know of a similar thing to check sigelei 150s? Apart from putting the one battery in first and then...
Maybe it's just the pic not being that clear but all my authentic dna screens have a separation outline where the little battery icon is. I don't know if that means anything but it looks like your little battery symbol is completely filled in but mine has a gap along the inside edges.

Slight differences between the large screen and small screen versions. Pic is a bit blurry but it looks legit. I have both a small screen and large screen rDNA 40's
Cheers guys. The guy told me this was V2? The screen is big enough for me and you are correct @vapdivrr My photo is terrible. I'm using my touch to do them badly. There is separation. Honestly. Lol
I thought it was the photo and tbh, I don't know the tell tail differences between but that was the only thing that looked a little different , besides that (and like you said it's the photo) the rest looks the same to me....
