is my Vision Spinner II failing, or is it the charger?

So when I bought my set up I was going to go with a store mod set up, but I didn't like the tank that was on the VSII so I bought a KangerTech ProTank 3 (original set up) so its been a few months of vaping and I've quit 11 days now;

When the VSII is charging the battery will be at Blue 30-60% charging and stay on green on the charger do know it was a 10hr overnight charge from no battery; I've also multiple times removed it plugged back in a minute to five minutes same issue..

Out of 3-5 days of this happening 2-3 out of 5-7 times charging its went to its white fully charged and I'm using a Samsung Galaxy tab 2.0 charger port which pushes out juice like no tomorrow (Voltage from the charge port doesn't effect battery, but improves performance charge, and fast charges; no harm done to the battery, it is actually the only charger I have that fully charges it; Smart Phone, black Berry charger, LG charger bring it up to blue, SGT charger brings it up to full charge)

So is it my battery, or charging cable?

I would bet the the Vision battery is aging. As a lipo ages, it's internal resistance increases and runtime goes down as well as charging takes longer.

Just a guess...

I've had this battery for 2 months; what's the average lifespan of a ecig battery?

Should be longer than 2 months.

ego chargers are cheap. try another one?

If your not already doing it, clean the battery connection on both the atty and the battery.

I also read that they like to .... down before a full charge is reached and to simply reconnect it after it says its done. Occasionally my Spinners have seamed like they were on the charger longer than they should be and after the reconnect they finished up.

Also read that the clones take longer to charge, don't know if that is true but I read it online and I stayed at a Motel 6 once.

My vision spinner takes a "two-stage charge" . The charge light on the charger will go green about halfway through the charge cycle. If i take it off the charger and put it back on it'll charge the rest of the way.

It does this with several different ego-style chargers. I spoke to a vendor yesterday (not the one i got my battery from) and she said that it was happening with some of their vision II batteries as well.

I always use a charging bag, and make sure to keep an eye on it. It holds the charge fine once it gets to a full charge and seems to be fine. I wouldn't go quite so far as to call it a feature, but perhaps it's just a quirk?

I'm glad I found this thread. I have 3 Vision Spinner II's and they seem to be having the same problem, although only one of them seems to have the issue consistently.

It seems to only charge about halfway through even after being left on the charger all night. I have tried multiple different chargers with the same results. Contacts are also clean.

They should finish charging after you take them off charger and put them back on.

Yes, I attempted to charge again last night and it seems to have worked. I wonder why it does that? Anyone have any ideas?

I have no clue. It seems to be pretty widespread though.
