Probably so. I need to get some Strike so I can add it in there some where. I do hope some people the aren't from the nuthouse vote and there are some strong 3rd and 4th place finishers that I might want to try.
I get so much heat when I tell everyone to go vote here or there - but - I'm going to do it anyway. Go vote!

I would advise caution. If there is a NuThouse run on the votes this might not end well. Most vapers don't stick to just one brand so when they see a large push from one company, in this case especially one that isn't perceived as a NET specialist, it doesn't translate well as we've seen already. Just an observation

HHV tends to be more subtle too. however no one would make a fuss if you voted all HHV. we just got NT haters. people just tend to hate what's popular.

I'll break it down for you. Mind you I say this as a friend. This is a huge perception problem and nobody gets it. Every time there is a contest Clark sends out an email and droves of Nicoticket fans flood the vote. Then the victory becomes marketing materials. Everyone perceives this as Clark unfairly using his legion of well deserved fans to claim a fake trophy to be used to sell more juice. How many other vendors do we see involved in these contests? And when DaBucs is driving the bus on one of the contests it is perceived that the fix is already in.
The trouble is everyone who has been vaping for any amount of time does not settle on one vendor or are they all that interested in popularity contests. I've tried well over 200 flavors by now and I don't have a best of ANYTHING. Just what I'm enjoying currently. I love Nicoticket and have some with me today at work but my drawer is full of different vendors and I love a bunch of them. Most vapers do not settle on just one company nor do they carry the flag of their favorite vendors like some do here. This is the source of all the friction. And today the whole mess just got worse and did not do the brand any favors at all.

fact is: clark and his fans have done nothing wrong. the fans are loyal, and clark is a good business man....these are the only crimes commited. yet the NT hate comes, why? because people love to hate what's popular.

I guess I just now got caught up on the Netty awards thread and it looks like I missed out on some things. I, for one, think that TA is a NET and have always felt this way. It is made from tobacco plants and no other flavorings are added. It's too bad that a few people that obviously have influence, would consider them to not be a NET for some reason or another. If this is the case, any NET using CO2 Supercritical or steam distillation should not be considered a NET since the flavoring was not made by soaking tobacco. If they allow those, then they have to allow TA. I can assure you that The Switch, Atlanta and Strike are all NETs as in the flavoring was made through a tobacco soak. It is just too bad that this whole voting process, whether it is the NETty's or The Best Of, always end up in a pissing match and accusations from people can't live with the results. Who are they to tell ANYBODY what they like or dislike?????? Big Tobacco and Big Pharma probably loves seeing such a divide in the community where we thrive on chewing each other up and spitting each other out.
Just for the record, I dont think Thundernoggin is hatin. He's actually an old school NuT'er who knows he can come here and express his honest feelings without being persecuted.
AGREED! I almost posted the same things Thundernoggin stated - he just did it SO much better than I would have. He's trying to help - and shouldn't be slammed for it. When we mostly hang on the NT forum, we do lose a teeny bit of perspective. I get the love here, the family thing, sometimes it just doesn't translate well to others. Probably nothing we can do about that. It is what it is. It's just another fun contest, not a whizzing match. Maybe the rules are a little wonky on this particular contest, it happens. Be gracious, whether you win, lose, or are not in the competition.

In "OUR" opinion Clark's juice is the greatest! But it doesn't mean others can't think theirs the greatest, too! And no one is the best at EVERYTHING, there is always room for improvement and invention. If there isn't a SWEEP this year, work on next year!
My husband vapes ONLY Nicoticket, I love Nicoticket, but I also like to mix it up and have juice from just about everywhere. If we can live in the same house and stay married to each other for 40 years, I think the rest of us can get along just fine. It's not worth alienating anyone or having harsh words over. It's another ECF contest.
Gosh, I hope I don't have remorse after posting this - I love my NT family and Clark.
And I am on pain meds from a dental surgery this morning that did not go well at all. I'm just speaking for myself as an old lady who knows a little something about what is worth fighting over and what just isn't. Nothing but love ......

. You are correct, not hatin'. I've been vaping GCD and Strike all day and wrote what I did because I love Nicoticket. Good juice sent out by good people. But as brands grow things can get more complicated. Managing perception can be a tricky business. Right now things are not translating well which is why I spoke up.- Status
