you do realize that there WAS no problem...... untill elitist opinions like yours, wanted to exclude NT from the NET categoty. even though they are classified as a NET in the net thread.

you are basically saying "since i don't see you in the NET thread, you probably don't know anything about NETs"...... elitist opinion if i have ever heard one.
that, and the fact that (some of) the hardcore NET thread people don't want to see NT win, and wanted to try to exploit some type of NET voting loophole, is what caused the problem.

fact is, all NT wanted to do was participate in the poll. NT fans were just gonna come and vote, then be on our way. people like you caused the problem.

lets just face it. most hardcore NET fans in the NET thread don't consider NT a true NET. so, they got super bent out of shape when they thought NT might win their precious Netty awards. so they made a fuss...that's what happened.

P.S.
letting your fans know they can participate in a poll for your product (if they want to) is not "stacking" the vote.
trying to disqualify a NET liquid because it's not NET enough for you IS stacking the vote!

What NET is Clark using? Is it Cavendish, Burley, or Perique? When I hit Virus, Wakonda, or Custard's Last Stand, I get nothing but butter and Splenda. Grandma's Cinnamon Danish is a decent vape; I like it. ACB has less of a Splenda taste, however if you look hard for it it's there. None of the above has even the slightest tobacco note to them.

You are correct. We do not consider NT a NET, not even remotely close. I am on about 20 various vendors mailing list, Clark was the only one who sent out mass emails. In the email he even told you how to vote, even suggesting he would bring back a flavor if you voted for it enough. A nicoticket fan might not even be into all of the flavors Clark offers, but with the help of his email, will vote in every category just based on his suggestion.

I could not think of a better example of stacking the vote.

Clark should take his skills to the union. He'd be a beast!!

Update on my hardware and a big thanks to folks here for your list of favs:
I'm not super in to NETs, but I've tried a few. I'm voting mostly because I've noticed that my top pick is not even mentioned... and that needs to be remedied. My list would include more if the Allusion aromatic line was still around- I loved them.

Best NET Overall
Excalibur- NET.com (seriously-- nectar of the gods)

Best Sweeter NET
The Cure- NT

Best Fruit Tobacco
Starry Night- NET.com

Best Cigar
The Ruins- NET.com

Best Synthetic/non-NET tobacco
1. Tripoli- Charlie Noble (I have no idea if this is a NET or not- it says "aged turkish tobacco" but who knows.)
2. Epicure- 503

Excalibur is one of the few NET.com flavors I haven't tried, but you make me want to try it, its in the cigar category I think? Does it have cigar flavor? I love the single varietals and pipe tobaccos from them!

No hard feelings here but please remove my vote/ballot from the poll, several of my picks are TA based. I firmly disagree with the notion TA, or TE aren't "Naturally extracted tobacco", products. I'm an avid tobacco extractor and have made them all....good stuff. You might also want to remove HHV's product line from consideration as they use Supercritical CO2 extraction that produces a super concentrated essential oil which certainly isn't in the "simple soak" PG or VG extraction realm (but still quite tasty!).
Well I would rather see the TA's included, but identified as TA's. I do like knowing the difference, but if its good, its good. :)

Seriously!!! $10 for 30ml from a top-notch NET vendor is just too good to pass up!
I just ordered 30ml of every NET they offer along with 2 extra bottles of Porch Rocker and St. James Parish.
@chanelvaps... You should jump on it!
I did! First time I've tried RBFS, great price like you say, and really enjoyed Count Carmael and Porch Rocker, both sweeter than what I normally vape, a welcome change though!

Go for it, Count Caramel is up there with Caramel Wild Wood for me. Different caramel; less buttery, dark and decadent than CWW. Closer to those common caramels that are wrapped in cellophane. That description may not make it sound great but it really is.

Plus RBFS is dirt cheap right now while VW is selling off their remaining stock. Another great NET they have that uses a tobacco cased with flavoring is Admiral's Pipe which is a chocolate and vanilla pipe tobacco.

Thanks for the tip! I ordered Count Caramel, Pirates Drunken Sweet Tooth, and Porch Rocker, great price at $10 for 30 mils! Really liked the caramel and pirates drunken sweet tooth, both were sweet, a nice change up for me. Porch Rocker I'm not sure if I hate it or love it yet, lol. It has a Latakia tobacco in it so there is the source of my love/hate, love the strenth of that tobacco, but not my favorite flavor, but its well blended. I've only vaped it in a cheap CE5+ so far, but after it seeps a bit I will try it in my nautilus mini.

Honorable mentions

Clay Packard of Net.com and Vash of Ethervapes - two of the nicest vendors I've ever met. They will break their backs to make you happy.

Liquids: Coffee infused Cigar, CI Cigar, Alkazar - Want2vape.

Habana Daydream - Quick Nic Juice

Latakia, Admirals Pipe, Petners Pipe - River Bottom Fog Sauce.

Drew Estate Harvest on Hudson - Myvapejuice

Apache and Southern Gentlemen - MOV

Madagascar Vanilla Bean, Perique - Vaperite

Bayou Brew Perique, Bali Nights and Gold Leaf - Ethervapes

Nikoticket - The Virus (H1N1)

Cigarillos, Guevera - House of Liquids

I love cigar Extracts and could have had a top 10. I had a hard time picking between Habana Daydream - QNJ and 7th Cut - Net.com for third. In the end the cleanliness of the juice prevailed. For the same reason Excalibur is first. For sheer taste and tobacco impact I would choose Managua and maybe Coffee Infused Cigar from W2V over Excalibur.

Some notable liquids have been omitted from my list because I am either giving them a long steep or am undecided. Such liquids include several pipes and cigars from MyVapeJuice, a few cigars from Net.com such as The Ruins, Spec-op and other new additions and a bunch of flavored Nets from Ethervapes.

Also I have not yet tried Black Note, Trubaco or Real Extracts.

It has a clean crisp almost cigarette like flavor. I almost put it in the best cigarette category. Mine is 2 months steeped but I reckon it will get better.

Interesting... you know, I have a real hard time telling the difference between cigarette, pipe, and cigar tobacco juices. Never tried any of Clay's cig juices because I really don't want to vape something that tastes like a cig anymore. But I should know better... maybe I'll pick up one of those as well!

Just a note. For me, vaping a nice tobacco extract is very different than that nasty taste/smell of a cig. I know, and appreciate, more about tobaccos now then when I burnt it. The whole sensation and flavor is very different. Even the "cig" type NETS don't taste like a cig to me, but clean, pleasant tobacco. Not ash and yuck. JMHO

Totally! I just never had much experience when smoking cigs of really being that into tasting the tobacco. I bought loose tobacco & Nat Shermans because they tasted better, but not like when people get all into smoking different types of pipe or cigar tobaccos. So I just never really considered a cig tobacco in e-juice as something that would taste good. But I'm excited to try it now!
Also, thanks so much for doing this... seems like it's been a real PITA, but I really appreciate everything I've learned on here so far :toast:

OK, I think I have had enough. I am going to walk away for a few, come back, and probably just close down the whole thing. Sorry folks, this is supposed to be a fun little poll to help macerated net lovers, new and old, find new flavors to try, new vendors to try, new genres to try, not a marketing ploy. I received the email too, and I won't stand for this.

I am DONE!!!!

I think for the most part we all got what we needed from this thread. We were all exposed to some great NETS. I, for one have tried a new vendor due to this thread and will probably try another.
I cannot imagine the harrassment you have to endure C and it is unfortunate that some can ruin it for all

I can't remember if you've tried GeJ's Patriot or not (and I'm too lazy to go back and look...hehe) but, the smell of Patriot to me is like a newly opened pack of very fresh cigs. Marvelous. Give it a try if you haven't (again, too lazy to go back and look.)

I agree wholeheartedly.

Henry Etta, my comments below are more in response to your post. I'm sure Clnire knows this already.

Combustion from smoking is very different to heating up an agent (PG/VG) with the flavour of tobacco infused from macerating it.

Vaping tobacco extracts brings out the tobacco flavor in a different way, actually, almost in a more natural way. That is, the way it might taste if u tasted the matured tobacco leaf. That is why it is often said that cigarette extractions taste more like a freshly opened packet of cigarettes might taste. In that sense, it's almost like the experience of tea leaf. (I am starting to really enjoy tea leaf extractions by the way)

You can taste the different types of tobaccos and the separation between them in a vape (Patriot and Confederate are good examples of NeTs that have 3 or more different tobaccos which can be identified when vaping).

After a while you will be able to vape a Net blind folded and be able to pick out which tobaccos are used. 'Oh yes I can taste Cavendish, and there is some perique in there alongside the Virginia'. That sort of thing.

Even with Net.coms cigarette extractions it is no longer the taste of cigarette but 'burley and virginia alongside each other'.

Technically, no vendor extracts cigarettes. Cigarette extractions taste terrible. I've tried it and my liquid carried overtones of the awful chemicals present in cigarettes.

Cigarettes are like the McDonald's of tobacco. The cheapest mass produced poor quality tobaccos are encased with a lot of sugar and chemicals to make them taste 'good' making them palatable to draw right into the lungs. Cigarettes were never designed to taste great but to deliver a chemical hit. It's no wonder more people are dying since the advent of the cigarette in the 30s and 40s. Prior to that, people smoked pipes and cigars which are mostly organic tobaccos cased with sugars and just a few organic additives. As you know, cigars and pipes are puffed, not inhaled and are more about the flavor.

Vaping in a sense takes the best of both worlds.

Most cigarette extractions, and specifically net.coms cigarette extractions are extractions of good quality organic and chemical free roll your own tobacco (American spirit) or pipe tobacco shag (finely cut tobacco for a pipe). Other vendors who label a juice an 'analog' or cigarette extraction are extracting roll your own tobacco or a pipe that is predominantly virginia and burley or maybe some Turkish tobacco or a concoction of varietals that when extracted just taste like how one might imagine a cigarette would taste or might remind them of a cigarette because of their dryness and mild woody and leafy flavour.

So don't be afraid of Nets that vendors call 'cigarette' extractions so long as you stay away from cigarettes :)
