Is Phoenix CE3 a good replacement for discontinued Smokeless Image CE3?

I've seen a number of very good reviews for the Phoenix CE3 from Gotvapes and was wondering if it's a good match for the Smokeless Image Volt batteries? I've seen some indication that the Phoenix and SI CE3 are identical, but then it seems odd that there were so many complaints about leaking with the SI CE3 but apparently not with the Phoenix.

Another issue I've seen mentioned about using the Volt battery with the Phoenix is an occasional failure to get a good battery contact. This makes it seem as if the SI and Phoenix CE3's may be slightly different.

I'd like to use the Phoenix CE3 with the Volt if they will work together reliably, but if there are other makes of CE3's that would work better with the Volt I'd appreciate hearing about them. Thanks.

I may be wrong but I'd be surprised if I am.

All of these branded ecigs sold by various companies all say the same thing; that they aren't the same. They say that theirs are different because they specially designed them with the engineers in china (who don't speak english,BTW) to perform at a much higher level than the other vendors. They just coincidentally look EXACTLY THE SAME IN EVERY SINGLE WAY.

IMHO, this is silly and kind of an insult to our intelligence (if I was the sensitive type).

I go exclusively through SI because they won my business with outstanding customer service. They are a great company that values their customers. They're in Ohio, my home state, and I like to help out there as well. Also, I sort of committed to the 808 connection and would be stuck with a bunch of stuff if I moved to another vendor. But to suggest that they, or anyone else, sells an "upgraded" model to the other places would be ridiculous. I've seen it said by a bunch of companies out there and it is reason for me to completely disregard the place. They are the same stuff, coming off the same assembly line in the same factory made by the same people.

I really don't obsess about it but I do find it silly.

Short story long, they are the same thing and will work exactly the same as the SI ones.
