Is RDA/RTA really that good?

Sub-ohming clouds be like this . . .

In the end, both will getcha there. One uses far less juice + battery power while the other guzzles both.

as to the OP's question . . . IMHO, yes, RBA's are worth it, no doubt about it. :headbang:

Idk tho big clouds of flavor in my mouth is so good tho...
I never rly gave mtl a shot but hows the flavor is it as dense as sub ohming?
I dont just vapr for nicotine i also vape because i enjoy the taste of my juices its both..
But if mtl can give me all this with my juices lasting forever seems pretty good to me maybe ill give it a go, my local vape shop has this MTL rda should i pick it up?

    Yep, sure can.

For me, 8 - 9 watts across a coil around 1.5 ohms gives decent clouds - easy vapor rings - good flavor. (You may or may not want/need to increase the nic %, if at low levels)

I accept it was either just me or a duff tank, but I tried them long, I tried them short, I tried a Scotch Roll, I fluffed them, I didn't fluff them but as Old Kayahm said "I ever came out the same door as in I went."

Lemos worked for some and I admire those who got them to work - mine went to Vape Heaven sadly.
The Lemo2 is one of my all-time Favorite tanks!

While it is one of the FEW tanks I still use that require a complete teardown to replace the coil I have to just love the 'twist to open' top fill feature.

(hint: if your tank 'losses its prime' or stops siphoning, just twist to expose the fill hole and take a few draws to rewet the wick and close)

Back ON TOPIC: *if* you want complete control over your vaping experience then rebuildables are the way to go.

I’ve been using a subohm tank with a prebuilt coil and I was wondering, is RDA/RTA worth it?
It just depends, do you like to tinker, and do you mind spending money on coils that last 4 days then you gotta throw them away. If so, rda/rta/rba is the way to go. I went from pod mods to subohm tanks, rta, rdas, now I'm at rba bridges in boro tanks. I first tried building just to trying save money because let's be honest vaping can be expensive, cotton and wire is more cost effective than buying factory coils, but beware of you get the building bug, you'll end up spending way more on new attys than you ever did on coils, but for me it's worth it. I now do it not to save money but because it's enjoyable. I haven't used anything but rebuildables in a long time. An rda doesn't necessarily have better flavor or clouds than a sub ohm tank but it's a completely different vape. So I'd say go for it,

First of all, you need to stop sub-ohming, you'll save a ton of money and your lungs.

I see where you’re coming from. But, the invention of sub-ohm was simply a ploy to sell more juice and convince folks that they needed to fill a room with vapor in order to quit smoking.
Was saying sub ohm was stupid back when it started (2012) Venders just got greedy, and I still say sub ohm is stupid.
Right now I have a 3 ohm coil in a KF. @ 5 volts (8.5 watts) it vapes great.
(and I can even see what I'm typing)

Different strokes for different folks. Some like tootle puffing, some like MTL at a bit higher wattage, some like restricted DL, and some like DL. Sub-ohming might not be for everyone, but there are some that like it as it fits their vaping needs. If you don't like it, you don't have to buy it. That's the beauty of vaping, there's something for everyone. I use rebuidables at 0.2 ohms at 75 watts. I find mtl rather a rather disappointing vape.

I love my RDA, but never got a rebuildable tank to work well for long, but then I'm picky about both. The only problem with RDA's is finding a normal, basic one, they're mostly weird, oversized and gimmicky.

The small car looks like a lot more fun to drive, the big one to party in, so good analogy? Anyway I can get stronger flavor with tight airflow, though not as pure or nuanced and of course without so much fog.

I vaped on Aspire Nautilus coils for years. The Canadian government convinced me to get into RTAs with there bulls**t regulations. Best move I could have made as I ended up with best vape for me. Learning to build on each individual RTA/RBA was sometimes frustrating but the rewards when I get my builds right are well worth it. Currently I am using a cloned Kayfun Lite and if I could stop buying new Mods, my monthly vape budget would drop down to less than $60.00 a month. I don’t make my own juice.

As long as Freemax continues producing coils for my Fireluke, that's what I'm doing. On the rare occasions I do mess with my rebuildables, I use my cotton bacon I bought a few years ago. Never tried rayon but I know where to get some if it ever comes to that. I simply haven't built a coil that compares to Fireluke's mesh set up. Mesh rules, tho I can twist a mean coil set up from plain kanthal. Honestly, I figured by now I'd be in total rebuild mode but this hasn't happened yet and I'm happy to buy a new 5 dollar coil every few weeks. 100ml of my favorite juice will last me close to a month. So vaping in Kentucky, at least, has not become difficult at all to get what I want, when I need it. Shout out to Astro Vape in Winchester Ky, you guys rock!
