Yeah SL/LP, the weight difference is noticeable. It's my go to, I love this thing. When I pulled my first reo out of the USPS box I started laughing, it's so much smaller than pictures make it out to be. Very portable, comfortable in hand, and can accommodate any vaping style.
As far as juice swapping goes, I do it above and beyond: switch bottle, change wick, and sometimes new coil. If you're looking to swap without changing wick, it is a fairly clean operation taking about less than 15 seconds.

The biggest thing for me to get used to, after 3 1/2 years of vaping nothing but tube mods, was the 'feel' of the Reo. I hadn't used a box mod of any kind, except for a couple home made 14500 plastic boxes I built when I first started vaping. So, the Reo felt a little weird in my hand at first. But after a couple days, I was over it, and I was hooked.

I had a very short lived love affair with round tooby PV's, starting with eGo's that were always falling over and rolling away. Laying them down on their side doesn't help - it only encourages them. The last straw for me, only four months into vaping, was the eGo that fell over on the kitchen counter and rolled off, hit the floor - still rolling and picking up speed - and was under the stove and all the way to the back wall in under two seconds. I picked up my first box mod after that one. So the box format of a Reo was a total non-issue for me.

If a Reo falls over... it just sits there. Much easier to keep track of. :p

I agree, Rick! I would be the first to admit that I didn't like the idea of a box mod at all. Just didn't like how they looked, I guess.. I really don't know why I didn't like even the idea of one, I hadn't even held one before the REO. But I liked the idea of everything else about the REO, so I decided to try it knowing that I wouldn't lose much if I had to sell it. As soon as I opened the package, and placed it in my hand... the aversion to a box mod was gone. The size of it was most surprising - so small compared to what I had imagined. The box just makes sense, it looks and feels like what a PV should be.

...I dropped my tube mods all the time, or they would fall over and roll off the table, etc... knock on wood, but I haven't come close to dropping my REO, or it falling over - and if it did, I have no worries that it will still keep going, and going, and going energizer bunny style!

Your misses will probably end up thanking you. Mine did! My buying habits slowed considerably once I got my hands on a REO. All the "new" gear that comes out constantly will no longer be as interesting.

Short version:
In the last year I've spend near $1k on vaping (not including liquid). So I wouldn't say I go overboard, though not as cheap as those who are happy with MVP2 and a clearo!
Another poster said Its cheaper than smoking PAD. I never smoked PAD, so argument doesn't apply to me :) Plus regular life needs my money for the next little few months.

Long version:
I dont purchase too often, and for vaping for a year I think my stash of gear is pretty anemic compared to a lot of "enthusiasts" on here.
Currently I run 2 devices but have 4:
Main:
3 month old Cloupor Hana Clone
5 month old Tobeco Tobh Clone
1 month old 4nine Clone
9 month old Kayfun Lite Plus Clone
1 month old 454 big block clone

Mech setup replaced SmokTech SiD that was 10 months old.
SiD replaced Ego Setups - one I still have (looking to gift to a loved one as a backup device) but the other broke.
I try to do my research and find a setup I'll be happy with. Then I stick with that for a while before upgrading again. These Reo posts is me doing research this time :)

Shorter version: I probably spent 1k total on vape gear (not including juice) in the last year.
Too much detail version:

Here's what I was planning on picking up over the next 6 months or so (may change as better stuff comes out): http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/hecticenergy/6702-shopping-list.html
(I blogged these because this post was way to long!)
Not buying anything the next few months because I've got too much real life stuff going on - time for new phones and wife wants to landscape the back yard, plus need to fund a cruise for spring.

I dont see VV Reos on reosmods.com - is he no longer making vv?

That's where my head is at ATM.

I didn't like box mods at first, so I got a SmokTech SiD. If you like walking around with a baton hanging out of your pocket it's not bad, but I much prefer my Hana clone, so the form factor isn't a huge issue.. A flush 510 would be nice, but I wouldn't want the rest of the mod any taller, and I think it makes sense with the button on top.

I saw your blogged shopping list, and if my rough calculations are close, all that together would buy you a REO with an RM2. Put in a fresh battery and juice bottle, in the morning, and good to go for the whole day. To me, along with it's sturdiness and reliability, the biggest plus for a REO is simplicity. You do sort of have to find a replacement for buying all the latest vape gear, maybe you can substitute DIY juices or testing out all the new attys.

It's sort of like carrying a pack of cigarettes in your pocket, but without the lighter. Just sayin' :)

Yup - reos do tend to end the desire to search for more vape gear (except for relatively esoteric reo accessories). There was a thread in here that ended up being Reonaut after Reonaut expressing just this.

I find that interesting that a lot of us have progressed through ever more advanced and "cutting edge" devices to one of the most classic designs in the vaping world. Such is the ridiculous sublimeness of the reo.

Well it wasn't a classic shopping list.. I guess want list would be more accurate... Like I said, was thinking I'd get a few rdas in the next few months. Then a new authentic after the first of the year. That authentic may be a reo though ;)

As far as fresh battery lasting all day... Probably not for me. I kill 2 18650s a day. One in dna clone, one in mech... I Vape a ton though. Essentially it's a mech with a dripper, so mileage varies the similarly I imagine... Depending on how you Vape and your atty resistance.

Before you shop your brains out maybe you want to check in on this thread to see what people are modding into bottom feeding attys - or not so much. => http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-supplier-forum/581604-catfish-atty-mods.html

I vape allll day long, and often. I would run an 18650 out in half a day with my dna30 easily. I would run kayfuns and rdas on it and I'd always need to charge or put in a new battery by 3 pm. With the very same vtc4's I used with that, I get much longer vape time from the reo. I still carry an extra of course, but it would likely take me through 3/4 of the day or longer. I don't know why it seems to last longer, but I'm happy with it.
