MN has a tax now. That's the one we are talking about and expecting other states will try the same.

35 States have banned the sale of electronic cigarettes to minors and it applies to 0 nic.
Well, not everyone is using it to quit smoking.
So what are people using it for? All the studies that I have seen have shown that virtually everyone using them is or was a smoker. This sounds like the stupid claims that vapers are still smokers cos they vape, but other NRT users have stopped even though most go back to smoking. I tthink most of us are in the same boat and know that if we stop vaping we will eventually smoke again so vaping is a stop smoking product even if it has just changed us from having a very dangerous habit to people with a habit of as yet unknown danger level.Well, not everyone is using it to quit smoking. If they were, I would so no taxes. But that is not the case. If it is sold in the U.S., I can accept it.
Minnesota has a 95% tax on E-Liquid at the wholesale level nic or no nic. Does not apply to online purchases-yet. 35 States have banned the sale of electronic cigarettes to minors and it applies to 0 nic.

North Carolina has a Tax on E Juice 5 cent per milYou said e-cigs are being demonized for tax purposes, yet only 1 state has imposed such a tax...
So that's 5% on e juice but not on any of the components? So DIYers will be OK just those who buy premixes, seems like a nuisance tax to me not that I can really understand your tax system as all the states can do different things the only people I see benefiting are the gas companies and couriers.North Carolina has a Tax on E Juice 5 cent per mil

You forgot to add the sarcasm icon. Without it, people might question your intelligence or think you are trolling.
its much easier to over tax something that is considered harmful or
detrimental to society. sin taxes.
