I'm new to this and have only had my 501 for 4 days. I have nothing to compare it to but I find the strong throat hit disappears after about six puffs. If I top it off I can get a few more. I am not sure if it is the juice or the 501. Either way, I have gone from 2 packs of analogs per day to 2 cigarettes. Amazing

You can't puff at the same frequency as an analog. The fluid needs time to wick into the atty. Slowing down worked for me.

Ditto. I am a noob too and was wondering.. I found that letting it rest a bit lets it wick up and the vaping continues. I did find that mine wastes a bit of juice but after using the straw mod, not anymore. I can also say that despite the amount of juice it is waaay less costly than smoking. I can vape about 90 ml (if) in a month and that runs me 45.00 US side whereas ciggies were costing me 200.00. Besides when I tried to smoke an analog three days ago I almost tossed my cookies. That plus lack of tar and other nasty stuff makes it well worth it.

No wonder! I just got my new 501 yesterday (around noon) and has not smoked an analog since! But I keep refilling it and refilling it, 2-3 drops and the vapor is sooo yummy! And abundant too! I really don't mind it but it makes me wonder about DIY liquids.
Also another question - I got e-juice in strawberry and vanilla but barely taste any flavor. Is it me or the flavor is always so subtle?
