So I just got my free 808 kit in the mail today from Rob at GP and it has an amazing throat hit and flavor. What about the thick white clouds of Vapor?

or am I doing something wrong? I wouldnt doubt if I am,due to the fact that I am only used to my 901
If you are using the prefilled Carts. It will get better when you start refilling with a good juice.
3.7v (standard ecig voltage) plus prefilled all-PG cartos = recipe for poor vapor production. You might get some with longer drags and the like.
It takes part-VG liquid (i.e. filling your own) plus high voltage (5v or 6v) to make the KR808 really shine in the vapor department.

A lot depends on how you draw on it. 1 or 2 short puffs to heat up the atty then a long slow one seems to put out the best vapor. I also agree some juices produce more output than most standard prefilled ones.
808 cartos will perform amazingly better at 5 and 6v. Preferably 5v as opposed to 3.7.
The cartos are great on flavor and TH but do lack in the vapor department.
If you look at the center wire electrode going up through the filler material you will see it is very small, not wide like a 510 or 801 so it isnt going to produce as much vapor.
Using the same carto on a 5v device produces as much vape as I can handle.

808s are not known as vapor machines,they have great TH and taste if you get good cartos.
As has already been mentioned, VG will help with the vapor.
KR808D-1 cartomizers have a higher resistance than a 510... they're more in the class and caliber of a 901. And the vapor production tracks that.
I have had the opportunity to vape a KR8 carto at 5V..... it's pretty amazing but of course you really need to be careful about burning the carto.

The PTs are 5v but I honestly like the flavor better most of the time on the batteries, some are decent on the PT.

My Kreight is a fog machine on my PT with my juices, but I mixed them using the PT for a test bed. When I go O+A (out and about) I really like those 280 maH batts so for max vapor i have a 901 to 510 atty adaptor and run my 510 carts, the taste is still good with my 808 juice thru the 510s hotter atty. bikes
