The batteries are very good.
The tank system is easy to set up and use.

For me the tank atomizers weren't very good (not a bad product, just personal preference)...but they are worth trying. Many people love the way they work and vape.

You might like them so it's worth a try.

The good news is that if you don't like the tank system, you can get other things and use those same batteries and charger.

Is this your first PV?

If so, strongly consider also getting
a 510 atomizer,
a drip tip,
and package of cartomizers
for back-up and comparison. This way you can try some options and know better if you want to buy more eGo T parts or move to some other 510 vaping format.

i have the ego t...vapor is stellar(at least as good if not better than ego with LR atomizer) ...th is so-so, not as good as a LR atty. flavor is another so-so for me...at least on mine, if i have flavors that are somewhat close, i cant tell what is what, when i use the ego tank. the tanks is nice in some ways: you dont have to keep filling it every 30 mins. but other than that...

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
My ego t got me off the analogs with ease. They are easy to use produce great vapor and great th. The atty's don't like too thick of a juice but if that's what you have keeping it warm will solve that. I clean my atty's about once a week with an isopropyl alcohol bath and that's all. I have a reo now but the ego t is my at work vaper.

The Ego-t is too expensive in my opinion for what it is, and will not last long enought to be worth the price. They are wonderful while they are working. They are too much trouble to clean and get them working good again for me.

They are are so easy to clean what's hard about an alcohol soak and flush once a week or so. I've been using the same atty for two weeks now without a cleaning. Can't get much easier or simpler than that.

Ya I have 510's and dont like them. The ego-t uses 510 atty right? Thanks for the reply's, I'll definitly get a LR atty. mn-puffer, have you found a similar style pv that is better on flavor? Thanks!

No as a tank it uses tank atty's but yes you can use 510 atty's I use both on mine. You can get lr tank atty's that is what I use when using the tank they are warmer than the reg atty's.

An eGo T has 510 threads yes, but it's not the same atomizer.
The eGo style battery is much bigger and better than a regular 510 battery.
You can use adapters with them to use other atomizers and cartomizer types.

For the money, eGo/Riva XL type batteries are about as good as it gets.

I got the first eGo-t's - A types - in December and they're still going strong. I prefer the B type atty/tank - more volume basically. The regular 650mAh batts last about 6 hours - I always carry one extra when out. The B tanks are good for hours without refill - @2.5ml - ymmv on how fast you go through it. Keep them clean - vodka bath about once a week. Filling through the hole made by the spike will save you from a leaky cap. A problem that some have encountered is a wick getting out of position but the fix is fairly simple - I have about 7 going and never had the problem.

There seems to be a lot of errors in the above threads. I'm not sure if its a case of off-topic, mis-speaking, or something else.

I do own the ego-t. It works just fine. Big battery and a tank with 1ml of juice. The only potential downside is the need to occasionally re-position the wick, which requires taking the assembly apart. First time is scary, then it's very easy and quick.
If the wick is too high, it will taste burnt. If its too low, it will leak. If its just right, it is perfect.

Some items that may require clarification...

wyo called it an ego-t cartomizer...are you referring to the tank or the atty, or the whole assembly? It is not a cart. The best part about the tank, there are no filling materials to burn, and you always know how much fluid is left.

morgy refers to the ego-t as a 510, so s/he will get an LR atty. Not sure if you meant the ego-t atty or any 'ol off-the-shelf 510 LR. It's been said that LR attys are hard on the electronics of the ego battery.

justice started talking about a reo. totally different animal. not sure if s/he meant ego

I don't mean to be a thread nazi, but being the 'new member' forum, I wanted to make sure those learning are not mis-led by inaccuracies.

Morgy, to answer your question,
In short, yes, it is worth it.
To expand, there is no one perfect PV, or we would all own it.
Since e-cigs use consumable components (attys or carts or batts) that eventually die, there is not much of a risk in buying well-known products. It's the gas station and mall e-cigs that make us all skeptical.

The ego batt has a high mah, but it has a lower voltage. Somewhere in these threads is a test that they produce about 3.2 volts if I remember correctly. TH is ok. Since the ego-T produces a cooler vape, some will mistake cool (vs warm) as part of the TH experience.

Just curious, what are you using now?

I researched for weeks before getting my first PV and decided to go with the ego-t type b. I've been vaping for about a week and have been very pleased with my decision. I only got the 650mAH batts and they last me all day but I am not a heavy vaper. For someone who is/was a heavy smoker/vaper, I would suggest the bigger batt. The type b tanks holds more liquid meaning less refilling. When I ordered I get the regular atty but also a LR atty. The LR atty is def the way to go if you're looking for something with more "oomph". The TH was good with the reg atty, great with the LR atty, vapor varied depending on the juice and no disappointment with the taste.

I did also order some cartos in case I had and problems with the tanks, which I haven't enough to take away from the experience. I did try one of the cartos and compared to the tanks which I had been using for several days, major disappointment! Went right back to the tanks and will keep the cartos for emergency back-ups. After the TH and flavor of the tank, the carto just seemed weak.

So, IMHO, I have to say that the ego-t is a great investment and since I got mine, no more analogs :)

I agree. I've been keeping a cartomizer on one battery and a tank on the other. I prefer the tank, but it's worth having some cartomizers around for back up.
