Kr8s are good but I think that greencig (not greensmoke) cartos are the best. They last longer per fill, do not burn out, can be refilled numerous times (some I have refilled over 40 times) and have a higher output. They are more expensive but if you refill they are much cheaper in the long run. They can be used with kr8 shorty auto batts.

so the cartos produce better vapor? I thought that was up to the battery?

The KR808 is a great system and pretty foolproof. I came from a 510 and was so done with fiddling around with it! Some of the KR808 flavors are nice. However, you can also buy blanks and fill 'em with your own stuff.

The KR is pretty foolproof. Minimal fuss, great vape.

I mostly use Greencig myself these days because it is soooo smooth with tons of vapor. I reuse the carts; however, they last a pretty long time. Greencig is a cut above just about every other e-cig. Pricy but worth it. Putting on a fresh Greencig mint cart is simply to be in heaven.

Sounds good where do I get one with a shorty battery?

Kr8 and Greencig have the same threading on the battery so they can both be used on a Kr8 battery as long as it has a slot cut across the positive terminal of the connection. All of my autos have that slot. Some of my manuals don't. You might need to use an adapter or staple mod to let in air.

Most think the Greencig cartomizers perform better, but the Greencig cartomizers ARE a lot more complicated to refill than the Kr8 cartomizers. And V4L Premium means the liquid is 'better' and there is theoretically a difference in the design. They don't seem premium to me but that is just my opinion.

If you have your own liquid that you like I would recommend that you get a Kr8 kit with empty cartomizers. You can use the Condom Refill Method with your liquid. I do it from the mouthpiece end though.

If you want short batteries V4L has a good selection. If you don't mind the standard length batteries I would recommend LiteCigUSA.

Good luck!

Are the greencig cartos bigger? Different filler? What makes the cartomizer itself better then the others?

UD.

It uses a different design... more like a standard atomizer with a cart on top but all assembled as one unit. The filler is in a container that is NOT easily accessible for refilling. Greencig is longer than a Kr8 but it doesn't actually hold more liquid.

Given the difference in cost and ease of refilling I recommend the blank Kr8 ones.

Those soft cartomizers fit on the 510's also. I just happen to have gotten a couple in the mail this evening and they are really kind of neat!

They do have a foam and paper cover that makes them feel like a cigarette filter. They even stick to you lips sometimes. LOL

They hold about the same amount of liquid as a regular 510 cartridge so be prepared to refill them fairly often.
