the eGo is a joyetech product. lots of companies have copied the design.
Vision is a different company and makes "ego" style batteries.

having owned both genuine and knock off eGo batteries i can say i like the genuine joyetech ego batteries a lot more. (longer life span, higher amp limit / cut off) i had one joyetech ego last me 1.5 years of heavy use.
Vision is not bad and a 1300 MAH VV ego style spinner or twist is not something that joyetech currently offers.

Thanks for the info! Had several people call it different things, it got confusing

I have both and I find the Spinner to be easier to use--it's a tad shorter, fatter, and the dial at the bottom is clearly marked and knurled. To read voltage markings on the Twist one needs a magnifying glass.

And after a while you won't even be able to read the voltage markings on the Twist since they are printed on the dial itself, and will rub off over time as you change the voltage. With the Spinner, they are printed above the dial on the body itself, and while they of course could eventually wear off, it will take a heck of a lot longer.

Actually, what wears off on the Spinner is the red mark on the dial.

I have both (well, HAD both).

For function, the Spinner wins. No contest.

For reliability, the Joyetech probably is the better.

I don't like Joyetech much ( really?? :) ) but there are less reports of failure. Even Vision admitted to building in a "new and improved PCB" into the Spinner V.2.

is it out yet? I had two 2012 models and one 2013.
