Is the Vmod a knockoff of REO?

I bought my first VMOD at 50% off in Nov13,my second at 35% in Dec.Keep watching the REOS site for a sale, but you know how that goes(it doesn't).Bought my first Grand in Jan 14 and my Woodvil in the last night of Feb14.Like others have said it was VMODs that lead me here.

I remember the old goat bottom fed box. Bought one for my daughter after I had my first REO. Was waiting for her birthday to give her a Grand. After using my REO and finding such a perfect way to vape I wanted her to have one of her own.

The old goat box was not even close to being a REO but it did work for her for a long time.

Yes that is the mod . Yeah its a junker for sure but the guy was way ahead of his time . He was a smart guy but lacked the mechanical ability to make it happen . I take my hat off to the man for thinking outside of the box . It gave me the idea to build a bottom fed mod . Off to the work bench it sent me . 4 years later I am still shucking mods

Some picks of some of my first mods . You can see I used the same radio shack box to make a bottom fed mod with a 801 connection

I wonder why Carlos didn't file a patent on his bottom feeder design if they were so ahead of his time...

An Old Goat was my cheap intro into bottom feeders to test the concept before ponying up for a REO. It worked! I still have my Old Goat and it still works.

In bottom feeders, I started with an old goat, then moved to a vmod. I remember hating the atomizers QC so I went to a provari and rebuildables. Have 20 iHybrids now, but you guys have me thinking of finally buying a reo! I always wanted a green/black one but they(pretty much all reos) were out of stock so I went the old goat and vmod route :/.

I believe this was the original BF mod. It was called a "Goat."

Although Pluid is my all day vape so I haven't looked around here in awhile due to it destroying anything but fused quartz or Pyrex. Been wanting a good pocket friendly mod, however. Maybe I'll just use a different juice in it?!

You can have a Reo exclusively for Pluid. If you have one Reo fate dictates you will have several or multitudes if your name is Karen or Dennis.

Hard to crack a RBA with juice! There are other bottom fed mods out there, i own a few and there are only so many ways of getting juice to an atty - most popular seems to be top-down with tanks. I own one decent tank!

My black grand has been abused - rebuilt, milled down, abused some more, rebuilt, dropped over 30 times at work, new 510 fitted (cheers Rob!), dented to hell, covered with a j-wrap, rebuilt yesterday with sub-ohm kit. still kicking.

i bought it soon after i joined here and it's been my beater ever since. If anyone can find a more durable mod with the same performance then i'd like to hear about it!

Goats and CJBs were bad enough, but i never laughed harder than at a video Unsure posted of the king of crap - the Vapezilla!

I love reading these posts. I've been vaping 10 months. I spent a ton of money on all types of mods. First bought a Njoy to see if I could do it for a day. hehe Went home to see if I could find them cheaper online. I found ECF that day. Like most, I didn't want to attempt coils so bought every type of atty, VV mod known to mankind. I kept seeing REO posts and their loyalty in alot of the remarks, but couldn't wrap my mind around $160 for just one at the time, so I bought a VMOD XL at the half price sale. I loved the vape and concept of bottom fed. Dropping it several times from the top of my horse and having it come apart was not leaving me a happy camper. Each time I would ride, I always brought a spare...not incase the battery died, but in case the mod was dropped.

A couple of months ago I started reading more threads in the REO part of ECF. I bought my first one.......with an RM2 and LOVED it. I promptly bought a cute Woodvile bubinga mini with another RM2. I ordered a Kawasaki green Grand that should be here any day now from Rob. I figured if I drop it in the desert I can find it much easier with it being bright and all. :)

I am hooked! I now want a big Woodville. LOVE the feel in my hand. I also prefer rounded corners. I still have my Vmod and use it at home all of the time, but wouldn't take it out of the house!! I do agree with alot of you...VMOD led to a REO!
