I am a V4L 2 piece user. I get plenty of use from the Passthrough. The batteries on the other hand do not have as much power. Is there a 5 volt on the market which is built cartomizer friendly out of the box?

I am not very handy and get confused by needing multiple adapters I have seen needed to get the some of the 5 volts to work with cartomizers. I would like to be able to buy 1 5 volt battery and be set without having to figure out which adapters I need to order, often from other vendors.

I know of no 5 Volt mod that is made specifically for cartomizers but if you get one that has a 510 connector, if you get this specific adapter:

1x 510-901 adapter(510 bat to 901/808D-1 at) - E-cig Multi Adapters - Wholesale & Retail Best E-smoking Supplier=

... it will work with cartomizers. The end of the adapter that is up, in the photo, is the end that goes into the mod and the other onto the cartomizer.

The 5V Prodigy V2 and multi-voltage (including 5V) XHaler weren't made only for cartomizers, but that is one of their intended attys. The Prodigy's 901 fitting is configured to accept Kr8 cartomizers. A 901 tip-to-Kr8 adapter (that also works with GreenCig cartomizers) is one of the additional options when ordering the XHaler and it also is available separately (so you could use it with other mods that come with a 901 fitting).

To clarify: I don't know of any 5V battery, but some mods (i.e., battery housings) use two 3.0V batteries and a resister or regulator to dampen the total 6V down to 5V. In addition to Prodigy and XHaler, GLV and the forthcoming Joker are other examples.
