Just a completely random thought, but is there a chew that's like snus in the sense that you can swallow the juices and you don't have to spit until you're totally done with it? I've never had a chew before because I don't wanna spit every 10 seconds, but I would be down for trying one that you can just treat like a peice of gum and not have to spit until you're totally done with all of it. does such a thing exist/is that even possible?

There is one type of chew out of the UK call Oliver Twist. No need to spit and supposedly as good as snus, or so I have heard, Unfortunately since the PACK act they are no longer available in the US as they haven't registered with the FDA. There was a well respected character that used to hang out here that used them and recommended them.

I never did get around to trying them. If you go to Northerner its under tobacco bites. You have to change you shipping to the EU to see them.

Lilbrown.com carries Oliver Twist. I've never tried it myself though.

You're correct they do carry Oliver Twist. I didn't know that. I assumed they were not registered as Northerner stopped shipping to the USA. The prices have gone up a good deal from a few years ago. Next time I order from Lilbrown I may try a box.

I've tried the Oliver Twists and found them to be quite unsatisfying. I like stonewalls alot better and they are also cheaper.

well hey next time I order some stonewalls, one can of Oliver Twist couldn't hurt. I just want something I can actually bite on (other than nicotine gum, obviously). is the berry flavor any good or does it taste like cough syrup? I've come to learn with smokeless tobacco, fruit flavors are really hit or miss.

I've had the oliver twists and felt the need to spit with it.
The "flavors" are real, real misleading. They all taste like varying degrees of licorice to me.

That being said, it's supposed to be safe,It seemed a bit light on the nicotine to me and the packaging is a pain in the .....

I just got some of that, it TASTES good, the problem is theres not enough flavor and the juice hardly comes out, I even actually chewed it and there STILL wasn't enough flavor! and I got some bits of tobacco stuck to the roof of my mouth, didn't realize it until I swallowed some of it and felt like crap the rest of the night. I won't be buying any again.

On a side note, Cinnamon Ariva is AMAZING! anybody who likes dissolvables should get it! it's weak but just put 2 in or suck on it to let it dissolve faster, the flavor is SO good I don't even care! tastes just like Big Red!

i had the oliver twists. they werent bad. i bought some sample packs at a local cigar/wine store that carries some mclellands pipe tobacco and some others. the sample packs were 2-8 bits per pouch , and 3-6 pouches per sample (pouch means like a sealed little foil. ) . i never picked up a tin of them cause i wasnt keen on the flavors that much. sunberry and wintergreen werent bad , but the other two were just too much for me.

still looking for ariva or stonewalls locally...

as a side note , i have been considering picking up some beech-nut.
