I have made several 6v mods with flashlights and so on. I like 6v with the hv atty. I cant find a diagram for running say 2x 14500 3.7v to 6v??? Anyone have any info they can share? Thanks in advance!
Pushing the regulator past his specs will shorten the lifespan, or it is ok do it, but the output is less "constant" (dc like, which to an atomizer doesnt matter)?
Am I reading this wrong or is the power and ground to the "atty base" labeled wrong? and why does it say to solder atty base to cap? why not wire it traditionally to batty connector. I could be looking it wrong, just need some clarification. Thanks
edit: Nevermind......I was looking at it as if the connector was sideways.
Yes, 6 volts but it actually exceeds the spec of the regulator which is 5.5v. I never go past 5.4v any way.
Because of the +/- percentage tolerance of the resistor rating the voltage will be slightly higher or lower. I get about 6.1 volts to be exact.
Thank you, you have been very helpful and knowledgeable and I appreciate it. I been looking at rat shack and they dont sell any of these items, is there a good place that you know of that sells them?
