This post is way off-topic, so I guess this subforum is the place for it:

ECF is a fantastic forum for my enthusiasm.

But my wife is a non-smoker/non-vaper. Her enthusiam is reading (and talking about) mystery novels. [Anne Perry is her current favorite.]

Thus far, I've been unable to track down any online forum/discussion group comparable to ECF on this subject (or even general fiction books).:(

This just doesn't make sense to me. There must be more mystery readers out there than there are vapers, e.g., most people I encounter outside of ECF have never even heard of e-cigs, yet everyone has heard of (and most have read) mystery books.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks!

PaperBackSwap.com: Free Online Book Club to Swap, Trade & Exchange Books. has 30+ categories (mysteries & thrillers among them) of subjects to discuss. It is free to join and they have almost 4,000,000 books available to swap. Swapping cost nothing but postage. No fees or hidden costs. A great way to get new reading material, and get rid of some unwanted titles.
A great site.

I read mystery books and True crime books. I haven't really found a good online forum thing for them though. Maybe this will open up a door though and if enough people post maybe we can open a social group or a thread for "Book Lovers" and it can be open discussion for any type of book. I believe there is a thread somewhat like that in The Women's room on here but only women could post there. I'm sure there are some males out there that like to read too.

Thank you both for responding - so quickly and with a lead and encouragement! Hope others will join in.

I'll explore that swap club lead tomorrow when I'm at my computer (I'm currently on my Blackberry). Maybe my wife (Sheryl) should join ECF and create a book club social group.

BTW, Jennee, did you change your photo? That's OK, I just changed my screen name. I went from dull to silly. I do like how it sounds when pronounced, particularly if you add "...bum, bum!" at the end. :)
