Ok, so I've looked at the nifty chart that I've seen posted everywhere on this forum that shows ideal voltage/power ranges for various resistance coils, and I've noticed it gets close, but I guess fine tuning it is dependent on the specific juice in question. Is this related to the viscosity from pg/vg ratio or is it a flavor thing? Is there a rule of thumb for how much you adjust based on the vg/pg ratio of your juice? Does it vary with flavor so much that you have to do trial and error with each different flavor?

For me it depends a lot on the juice in question. Some taste better hotter, some colder. Some even change their taste depending on the voltage (For me, Deadly Sin tastes like a cinnamon bun at higher voltages, and more like a rice krispy treat at lower ones).

Just try it for yourself; there isn't a "right or wrong" voltage for a particular setup. The chart just shows the extremes.

That makes sense, this one I've got called Hobbit (apple and toffee) tastes like Scotch at 8.5W on a 2.5 ohm. Not a bad flavor, but far from apples and toffee. I've always vaped at the highest wattage or voltage I could without tasting the burnt campfire taste, which is probably too high for flavor accuracy. I'll try vaping down around 3.9V or 5.5-6W and see if that is closer

There are just to many variables for a "one size fits all" type chart. I like a warmer vape, around 8 watts, I take the resistance of the coil, add 2 and set my voltage there, that gets me close. But different juices I like warmer or cooler, different atomizers I like warmer or cooler, during the day I may warm it up or cool it down depending on what I need from my PV.
I've been in threads where someone asked for a hard and fast rule for different PV/VG ratios, there just isn't one! Everyone want's and likes something different!

i have experienced the same taste differences at different levels. The only thing I would be concerned about is the thickness of the fluid with the higher % of vg. You can burn coils if you don't have the appropriate delivery system. I have also noticed in different tanks and cartos it varies as well even if the resistance is the same.
