Is there a stainless steel, recessed side button vaping rig that uses a 18650, or 16340 battery?

Related to my earlier post, I'm looking for a vaping rig to use on a oceangoing fishing boat.

It needs to be rugged and contain no electronics, I'm not too worried about a waterproof switch as I can cover a recessed switch with a number of different waterproof membranes.

I was looking into the indulgence but rejected it for a number of reasons, the Silver Bullet and roughstack are aluminum and just wouldnt take the abuse.

Super T Manufacturing has the perfect one (thanks El Dee), but its not in production yet or I'd buy it right now - it'll even take a 4000mAh 26650 battery.

Other than that I'm coming up empty, I've only been vaping a bit more than a month so of course I dont know much about the different mods available, so I thought I'd ask you all

Have you looked at the GGTS?

I got mine yesterday, along with an AVS tank and I'm glad I went ahead with it instead of screwing around with less expensive stuff.

It can use just about every battery around and with the 6ml AVS tank lasts a long time.
I am using 2 cr123a batteries right now for 6v but have an 18650 and standard attys on order so I can try it at 3.7 for max duration. The 6v setup only lasts me about 6 hours.

The GGTS is mostly aluminum with some brass. This is not as good as SS would be for exposure to salt in the atmosphere, but with some care should hold up pretty well.

It does hold up well, and i must have dropped it 50 times and it still worked perfectly every time lol, the locking button and adjustable airflow ring are what drew me to buy a GGTS, otherwise i woulda got a Super-T.

I think you might want to look at the Reo Grand.
Anodized Aluminum. All mechanical, bottom feed, no maintenance and rugged.
18650 battery, 6ml juice bottle. Very simple device and very well built.

Silver Bullet is a good ... fantastic actually... device. I have a Black one and would recommend it in a heartbeat to any great outdoorsman. The button is comfortable (epic button) and recessed enough it's not going to fire in most pockets in most situations. I get 20 hrs vaping from 1 battery on avg. You can find them at altsmoke.com

I've got a GGTS and a Black Bullet...GGTS is aluminum as well....and that's why he didn't like the Silver Bullet...The GGTS will not endure as well as the Silver Bullet due to the extra joints...My first choice would be the ShockWave,,,,then the Black Silver Bullet...that black powder coat should be fairly durable...and it's pretty well sealed....Juice did eat my powder coat off around the atty connection...A little die-electric grease on the spring and the Black Bullet is pretty good to go... IDK when Super -T is hitting the market with the ShockWave...that's a big battery......with a good atty...there's possibilities for a decent vape....Personally I may get a ShockWave....just because of that battery....You're not gonna see me without my BUZZ very close by...that's a given...It may be a go in the Salt enviroment...I'd head to the Not-Cig sub-forum and hit Buzzkill with that question...The hard anodizing is first rate as well as the performance..It's an easy keeper and out performs all other PVs with out question....

If a stainless steel unit is what you are looking for, with a mechanical switch, the Prodigy V3.1 from Puresmoker might fit your needs. It takes a 17670 battery with 1600 mah. I keep going back to looking at that one myself - or a roughstack - or an Indulgence. The Icon uses a smaller 14500 batt, but it is a lot more compact too.

Oops. You said recessed side button, but the Prodigy is a bottom button. Lockable however.

So far the Shockwave beats everything out there, I think I'll just wait for it to come out, fishing season is done for now. I'll spend a little more for quality work, I think I'll also ask him if he'll do the cap so it'll fit the Ego mega cylinder 2.5ml attys

Maast I had a Precise from Super-T....High grade stainless and the best machine work I've seen on a PV...Now that bottom switch and 10440 battery....not so good for me...The switch mind you was definitely high quality....I just didn't like it on the bottom...Kinda awkward...and that 10440....well it's OK for the TV remote..I still use and love his drip tips....26650...now that's a big battery...I'm thinking maybe I could go all day for real on that...
I was thinking about my advise on the Black or Silver Bullet...Now my BB sat for a few weeks as I was sure the switch had failed...I decided to disassemble it one evening and found corrosion under the ground spring...That fixed it...and I grease it now...but a little salt air and...Maybe not such a good idea...Still my BB is a good PV it serves its purpose well... I believe for your needs that you have made the correct decision...I'm more than interested in the SW myself...His new juice feeder is interesting as well...my PV spends lots of time in my pocket though...and I don't think the feeder is very pocket friendly.....
