On thing you might want to keep in mind when running off of wall power, especially if using scanvenged parts, there's always some risk of utility power shorting inside the adapter resulting in electric shock. Not a good thing when using a metal atomizer with a metal tip, get it right in the kisser. The risk is minimal with most wall power supplies, probably less than the risk of a Li-Ion battery exploding, but something to be aware of anyway.
