During my introduction to vaping I found an ohm/volt chart. I know some coils (nautilus bvc) can handle a higher voltage at 1.8 ohms. I am wondering if there is a benefit to using higher ohm coils for a variable voltage battery (like spinner II)? I ordered some 2.0 and 2.5 ohm coils but they haven't arrived yet. I just want to make sure I don't head down the wrong road and waste money if I'm not going to see much of a difference. What are your thoughts?

One benefit of higher resistance is that your battery will drain slower if you're using the same voltage setting, or even if you raise the volts to get the same amount of power to your coil, the amp draw will still be lower. I don't know that this should be a significant factor in deciding on your coils, though. I would just try a few resistances and figure out which works best for you.
