hi y'all..

i'm brand new to vaping cigs, having just bought my first one this week.

a few days later, i learn that it is considered a controlled substance here in canada, and deemed illegal to use if nic is contained..

i can't believe it, nor can my doctor when i asked him about it..

WTF... maybe it's about lost tax revenue... i dunno...

has anyone heard if this issue is still under debate with the authorities... typical canadians.. we take crazy laws, lying down..

let's start a movement if there isn't one yet ...!!!!

cheers,
mig

Hey there! I'm new to all this as well, and impatiently waiting for Canada Post to deliver my first kit. My understanding after reading, and reading... and reading more... is that they are not illegal to use. They are not allowed to be sold when they contain nicotine. Maybe it's big tobacco lobbying to protect their shriveling market. I'm sort of wondering why big tobacco isn't getting in on it? Surely they would have the clout and resources to get the studies done and become major producers of nic fluid.

Nicotine is a controlled substance, and can be dangerous in high concentrations if handled improperly. I'm sure you've read all that bla bla already. If not, I'm guessing you should. My gut feeling is that they are doing the right thing, for the wrong reasons.
