Is there any way to MacGyver a EVO bat to charge without the normal charger?

My evo batts are dead and my charger still has not got here from innovapor. If I don't figure out something soon I will have to buy analogs and I don't want to do that.

So please oh gods of all moding, help me figure out a way to charge my evo batt with house hold items or a quick trip to radioshack.

Thanks,
Sean

You need to update your location so folks know where you are. Someone might be close by and willing to help you out.

do you happen to have a DSE901 charger? If so, you can put the EVo battery in it crooked so the outer and inner terminals of the battery make contact in the charger, and hold the battery in place by stuffing a piece of folded cardboard or Q-tip stem between the battery and the housing of the charger, ....once you get in in there right it will charge just fine. Even stong sticky tape would work. I used to charge my m401 batts like that when I was short a charger.

Uhhhhh...not a good idea, that could easily destroy the battery.....keep posting, hopefully someone on here close by to you will come up with a charger....

I have a spare usb to iphone charger, is there anyway I can cut off the iphone connector end and just touch the loose wire to the evo bat or something like that?

well how does the batt charge, I know you screw it into the charger, but how does the charger charge the batt then? There has to be something I can do.

I am on day 8 without a cig or vaping, my girlfriend broke up with me last night, and if I don't figure out something soon I am going to snap.

Ok OK OK.. listen..... If you can sacrifice a USB cable you can dummy it onto your atomizer with some tape to heat it up. It will be next to impossible to use, and you will be tied to a computer but you can vape that way. Keep in mind you will need a way to turn it on and off, if you have to make a switch you can make one from a paperclip or some stiff cardboard and some tinfoil and tape.

Cut the other end off the cable (the one that doesn't plug into the computer). If you are lucky you will find a red wire and a black one. Ignore the other colours. If your wires are semi random colours google USB pinout and trace the 5V +/- back from the connector to figure out which is which.

Attach the red (+) to the center pole on the atty, get the black attached to the threads on it. This will power it.

Now split the USB cable halfway down. Dig out the red wire and cut it in half. Strip some insulation off of each end. Put a stip of cardboard over your split and tape one end of the red wire to it with the end exposed. Now tape another piece of cardboard that is bent to act like a spring above it. Wrap tinfoil around this part and tape the other stripped wire to it. You now have a wacky springy switch if I have described this right. You should be able to get some vaping going. I would tape a pen to the atomiizer so you have something to hold onto.

I watched MacGyver all the time as a kid. Hope this helps.

I think I did everything right, but it is not working.

I am going to have to buy a pack of analogs today, I can see it now.
What was described by Shaik Corso should work. But if you have to resort to analogs don't beat your self up over it.

If you have a volt meter you should see 5 volts between the red and black wires when the USB cord is connected to the computer and the open red wire is put together where you cut it in the middle. I would suggest you play with it (carefully) a little more, if nothing else it should help delay the analog purchase.

+1

Keep yourself occupied, and its ok if you need some normal smokes. All my gear broke down once and I was on analogs again for 2 weeks. I will freely admit however, it was a little harder getting of them the second time - had to increase my juice MG to counteract them.
