Is there any way to MacGyver a EVO bat to charge without the normal charger?

So the chargers came in and i got the batteries all juiced up, then the evo's decided they were not going to work at all. So after screaming and pulling out hair, I got up with Millie at IV and she is replacing my evos with 510's which should be here by Monday or Tuesday.

Did you tell her you put 7.5V through your atty? Or does it work fine on the battery stick still?

Strange. Are the batteries making contact with the attys OK? Did you try to draw on the batteries with no atty attached to make sure the switches are working?

Yes and Yes.

So I have to be vape free for about 3 more days, but Millie is really taking care of me, and I am getting, what I think, is a much better deal if I can just be patient for a few more days.

Can't I am returning all the bogus equipment to them. So, I will have to break down and buy a pack of analogs till then.

Thats cool man, just space them out so the whole packs lasts until you get the replacements. I recommend smoking 1/4 of a cig so that it lasts for four smoke breaks.

Now I need to find a cheap pass through for a 510, any ideas?

Dude, make your own...... Check out some of my previous posts, I have an example of one I made for a 901 posted. There are also tons of tutorials on the forum that shows you the various ways of making them.

Personally, I just use a USB cable, switch, and a diode to drop the voltage to 4.5. I will put in an LED if I feel fancy.

It's handy if you have a spare battery to tear apart for the connector, but you can often dummy up something that will work if you look around at various things. A lot of guys are using RCA connectors to hook up to the atty.

Then all is lost, so sorry.

Oh wait, can't you get an iron and teach yourself? Thats what I did when my Grandfather gave me one when I was 10. It's easy, get the little kit from Radio Shack for $12.00 or whatever and start practicing. Use flux core solder, you don't need to worry about adding flux to the type of **** that you will be doing. There's nothing to it, really.

I think my step-dad has a soldering gun. Is your tutorial idiot proof?

Um, not really since it more of me just describing what I made. Read it over and the other ones out there, you can do it. The whole job is basically idiot proof. You made your battery pack work so you can make a passthrough. I want to stress keeping the voltage around 4-4.5 volts by stringing diodes together (I won't get into resistors until you have some more experience, diodes are easier). High voltage vaping is great, but I fried attys when learning how to do it so keep the voltage down until you get used to your manual switch.

My evo batts are dead and my charger still has not got here from innovapor. If I don't figure out something soon I will have to buy analogs and I don't want to do that.

So please oh gods of all moding, help me figure out a way to charge my evo batt with house hold items or a quick trip to radioshack.

Thanks,
Sean

I've got a USB Evo charger you can have if you'll cover shipping.
