Is there anything in line with Provari quality?

nope. lol. the only thing durability wise is a mech mod. beyond that not too many are tough and repairable but there are a few.
but things like the vamo are already receiving survivor stories. with anything electronic i would think (hope) you can count on the better built, higher priced stuff to be a bit more reliable.

heck i want the SvoёMesto VW but am terrified of breaking it.

The Provari's one-button interface is far easier to use than the one on a Vamo, IMHO.

Reaching a + or - button from the vape button on the Vamo takes .1 second and I don't even have to look. I have read the provari instructions and its impossible for one button to be far easier.

That being said, from what you guys are saying, the one button may be very simple after you get the hang of it. Thanks for the advice.

I have a vamo and am pretty happy with it but I like nice things. I would love the quality of a Provari but hate the idea of the one button interface. Is there anything that will be the best of both worlds?

Thanks
Grimm

Nothing that I know of compares to the Provaris quality and customer service-USA made... The button interface is as easy as pie...:)

I dunno. I've got both, and I find all the "hold this button for 5 seconds for this, or hold the other one 5 seconds for that, and hold one of them 10 for this other thing" on my Vamo to be a bit of a pain. With my Provari, it takes maybe a couple seconds tops to get to any of the menu options.

But, hey, that's me. YMMV. Not trying to be a fanboi or anything; I just find the interface on the Vamo to be really clunky in comparison.

I agree with the above comments. No other variable voltage APV comes close to the durability of the materials and finely machined contruction of a Provari. This device will likely outlive me and still vape strong. A lot of thought and care went into the design and manufacturing of the Provari, and it shows. Well worth the money if you are in this for the long haul.

I also agree about the single button programming. Took me less than 10 minutes of playing around with it to master it. The first two modes to come up after 5 quick clicks are power up and power down to adjuct the voltage. I don't even have to count in my mind any longer, its programed into my mind. I rarely need to check the resistance of my cartos, as they are all the same. I rarely need to check the voltage of the battery as the Provari gives a warning of a low battery by having the power button blink slowly.

If you don't have a particular need/desire for displays, the notcigs Buzz Pro has been around since July 2011, excellent durability and performance, US made, great customer service. Their prior original Buzz was, AFAIK, the first production VV. The BP uses a very simple wheel interface, rotate it to adjust voltage up or down. Excellent regulation, it'll stay at the output you set right up until it's necessary to change batteries. Durability is tops, mine has had multiple falls of up to 5' onto concrete, other people have dropped them down shafts at work, one person even ran theirs over with a mower -- the tank on it was toast, PV fine..

You're sceered of breaking a
SvoёMesto, are you serious? I would hope a Mod from over there would be built as solid as an AK47.

That would be the farthest thing in my mind from what I think could happen to it.

Don't tell me there are reviews of that Mod having quality issues.

no but we are talkiing about the price of 2 provaris for everything. in the kit+VW head. and it is only plated brass (only lol) for that kind of cash i would have a lanyard around my neck with a goose down padded case lol

I find the Vamo buttons easier than a one button menu system. I have one button on the Zmax. initially I preferreed it but now I really prefer the Vamo set up. It is easier.

With one button, whether its Provari or whatever, if you fire too quickly it takes you into the menu. Users have found that to happen. With the Vamo buttons that can't happen because the fire button is separate from the settings.
I don't know of a pv that has what you're asking though.
In terms of quality the Sigelei Zmax is as good as a Provari - the Provari edges into the lead with the vv being a bit more accurate. The Sigelei Zmax has an OLED screen and vw. Both one button menu system.

This is a good review:

:toast:

And don't forget to add exceptional customer support and be willing to service it after warranty? I know just the company!

That's what makes the ProVari so attractive, the warranty and support. When something does go wrong being able to communicate in the same language, using the same Idioms can not be measured by any metric.

ProVape is on top of its game.
