Is there anyway to get the burnt taste out of my 510 T atty?

It shouldn't really taste burnt that fast. I would have done the same thing and cleaned it out if mine tasted funky though. Easiest thing to do is blow it out and dry burn it from there.

All you need to do is keep holding the button down to turn on the atomiser for a while until you see the meshy bit inside the straw is going red. Keep it glowing red for a bit and gently blow down the straw. Somewhere between 15 - 30 seconds should be ok. You can repeat it a few times once you give it time to cool. It's the easiest cleaning method I think.

What I would suggest though is that it might not be that the atomiser is burnt so much, more that it's not wicking juice too well which is a common problem with Ego T's. There's a few things to try out.

Try not to let the juice get too low and also don't overfill the cart.

Sometimes bubbles form around the straw/wick so just pop the cart on and off to free it up.

Suck through the mouthpiece without turning the ecig on a few times sharply to draw juice into the wick.

Once you've cleaned it you'll need some time for the juice to soak into the atomiser for the first time again so make sure you give it enough time. Leaving it upright can help it wick pretty well.

Use less vg if you can in the tanks, higher pg content wicks far easier.

There's a few other things you can do like push the wick down or make a small hole in it but they're kinda drastic and a last resort kinda thing. Dry burn it, refill it and see how it goes.

HOLY SH!# that worked great its vaping better than it did when I got it and the taste is way better, thank leftfeild.
Glad to hear it. Sounds like you might have had some "primer" fluid still in the atomiser. Make sure you always blow out a new egoT atomiser pretty well first time you get one but it'll always taste a little funky for a little while. Good luck man!

I wash atties under hot water in the kitchen sink. Just run hot water into the atty with the cart removed and let it drip out the battery end for a minute or two. Dry it with a towel and sling the remaining water out. Dry burn until you see a dull red glow and release. Repeat the dry burn until you don't see smoke coming off the coil. Don't just hold the button down. Pulse the button on until you see the glow and hold if for a second or two and release. Dry burns can pop the coil and kill an atty if you hold it too long on full coil glow.

Drip a couple of drops on the atty to prime it and install a fresh cart. If you want to get rid of the atty problems, order a box of Boge low resistance cartos and discover what vaping is supposed to taste like. You'll need Ego batteries to handle the extra current draw.
