Still waiting for the 5v to be release and wondering if it will ever be?
I have tried to like the 801 atomizers and its a no go for me.:(
Would love to vape my GG using my 901 atomizer with a 5.3v or so volt.
Please do something for the 901 people that want to vape using the cr2 batteries with 5v.

we are so close my dear, I think that in 1 week or 10 days my atties will be available from Iken's site. 5v means (with 3,5ohm atties) that you vape in 7,15 watts. With the first batch of my atties we will smoke at 7,2 volts. That means exactly the same result! I focus on resistance and not to volts;-)

So using your new atty with 2 x cr123 3.7v batteries, it will be a 5v vape?

No moog, my new atty will give 7,2 watts with 6 volts. For the same result at 7,2 volts we need a diferent atty but 7,2 volts will be for heavy smokers so I will not make 7,2 watts again for 7.2 volts option because we will have it already with the 6 volts.

Let me try to explain(And understand this)

at 5Volts a Atty with 3.5ohms resistance uses 1.43 amps
Voltage (5Volts) Times(X) Amperage(1.43 Amps) Equals(=)Wattage(7.15Watts)

Soo your saying your Atty at 7.2Volts will produce 7.15Watts?
So Voltage(7.2Volts) Divided(/) Wattage(7.15Watts) = Amperage(1Amp)
And 7.2Volts with 1Amp means your New Atty's will have a Resistance of 7.20 Ohms?

That seems like a Really high Resistance Level

If your running a 3.7v Battery at 7.2 Ohms the atty it will only pull 1/2 Amp
Thats 1.85 Watts...Not enough power to Produce Mist

How about at 6V? at 7.2 Ohms .84 Amps
thats 5 Watts...Just above stock...

So this New Atty is High Voltage ONLY?

Just trying to figure this out

I think I never did understand this. Maybe a little better now. To tell the truth this is confusing. You are saying that there will we good juice flavor with your new atomizer?

I will explain it very simple and you will understand it. (this is for ride too)

When we smoke we meassure the power of our cig. the power is current * volts.

So if someone has big curent and low volts its the same with the other guy has low current and high volts. The result (volts *curent) is the same.

e.g. 10*10=100 and 20*5=100 again

The result is the same.:)

So what can we expect the Resistance (Ohms) Range to be on the new Atty's?

If you reduce the resistance, the batteries will increase the current and you will still be vaping at higher power. I'm not sure (with out using a chip to regular current) how you can control reduce 6.6v down to the same power as 5v vaping.

Its easy nuck:). If you think a little more you will find it!

What materials can be used to make the coil?

If a fatter wire is used for the coil but with the same resistance would that be a cooler running coil? more like 5v.

if we use a fatter wire, then if the material is the same it will have bigger resistanse.

Guys, just think that I increase the resistance, nothing else. All the other stuff is out of interest

I still do not understand. The only thing, I need to know is will the flavor of the juice be improved?

Rejoice, you will smoke like 5volt. If you have smoke at 5 volt you know already how it is. If not, and you want my opinion, the juice is not improved at 5 volts. 6 volts have the best flavor, thats for sure for me. I just done it only because many people asked me for this and because atties will not get burned easily. I made the right resistance for the right volts.
