Hey I know nic juice is illegal here, but is there any stores that sell eGo or Volt starter kits/non nic juices?

If not, are there any legal sites were allowed to buy them off? I'm looking into Blu but you all are giving me good advise saying eGo & Volt are definately better so I feel like I should look into them before purchasing the Blu (which is sold at a tobacco shop here) --- Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada

Hello Tebo,

Welcome to the forums, nic juice isn't illegal in Canada. Customs just gets their panties in a twist when they can't have their way, so they put a kibosh on some things shipping from time to time. There are plenty of great sites in Canada to get some good starter kits and juices. Canvape.com or Vaporgeek.com are great places for eGo style batteries. If you are not adamant about having something that looks like a cigarette, I would suggest an eGo style battery over a Volt.

As for Blu, I would stay far, far away from that. You can get much better devices for much cheaper elsewhere. Get yourself the list from the stickies above for the vendos here in Canada.

Also, I'm from Vernon, so if you need any help or ever are in need of some juices, let me know.

Banned =/= illegal. Health Canada does not write criminal code, but they have a say on import, marketing, and sales of certain products. Nic+ liquid falls under their umbrella (since it contains nicotine).

There's lists up in the stickies, some great places for both hardware and juice, some are semi-local and shipping times can sometimes be sent next day depending on when you get your order in. Ordering local you'll be avoiding the customs problems people have when importing, and you'll be supporting local business. My general rule is city>province>country. I don't order outside of country, it's not worth the possible trouble, and it's just how I roll when I can roll that way

One thing to keep in mind, most use e-transfer as payment, though some are adding CC options.

For hardware, there's quite a few legal shops in country, can't ban a battery.

I try not getting involved in brand opinions, but personally I'm a fan of ego batteries for starters. I started with a bloog kit but the battery life left something to be desired, and I quickly (ordered within a week) moved on to the egos.

Blu is owned by Lorrilard, a tobacco company. My personal thought/opinion on this: I'm not giving them any more of my money. There's too many other options out there to consider them a viable alternative. In the end, if it gets you off tobacco then go for it.

If you need to get a cigarette look a-like I would suggest Redds. They are reliable and the carts that come with them give off amazing TH and flavour. If you don't care and trust me after a week or two of vaping with the Redds or the blu's you will go looking for an ego. Just skip the rest and get an ego-c starter kit. happyvaper.com has some good prices.

I'm a huge Auto pen-style bat user!! They have a distinct place in my vaping day, like driving, doing things around the house.. I use the rubber Tips so I can bite hold them to be hands free.

For cigarette style Redds from HappyVaper is the Best Vape! Redds Battery life is to low for me so I vape Volts with Redds Cartos & Volt cartos, Depends on what e-liquid I use for each carto choice. Redds cartos are expensive compared to volt cartos, I buy Volt in bulk during one of their numerous sales. Out of all the 808 pen-style Batteries Volts 78mm Autos are consistently the best. I've had 3 Bloog 104mm Autos from Happy vaper die in a month. The 808 autos from Canvape are a little cheaper then Volts (not after shipping w/dicount code) but the battery life is a tad over rated.

Smokeless Image Volt ships hardware to Canada and accepts credit card. Cheaper shipping then most Canadian places. They have also been good with warranty to Canadians (had 1 DAO battery out of 20 and one DAO slider charger, the slider sucks!) If you order from them be sure to use a discount code.

Also like others here, I recommend the eGo twist and the vivi nova tanks.

I can't find any eGo twists on that site only other types of eGo

I'm not very knowledgable about this stuff yet, perhaps they are all eGo twists?

It appears the site smokeless image only sells Volt starter kits!

I admit I'm having trouble on any sites finding eGo twists, where I know I can get shipped to me

No, they are not. Ego twists have a knob built into the bottom that you can use to adjust the voltage. Regular joyetech ego's run regulated at 3.3 volts.

Check out canvape, they have all that stuff, and have more than likely will have the best prices you'll find. Their eigate stuff is the same as volt, if you end up going to cig sized stuff. If not check out the joyetech section. Twists are generally not sold in kits, so you would have to build one. Or maybe get a upgrade kit, and add a extra twist or something. Unfortunately, you won't be able to order liquid from them, so you'd have to go somewhere else for that.

A good place to get both would be grbc.co

edit after your last post:
Yeah, si doesnt have kits on their ego sized stuff, which are called.. x2's i think.. They are passthroughs, which means you can vape them while charging, they have a slot in the bottom of the battery for a usb cable. The x2's would come with charging cables.

SI is a good company, and they sell good stuff, but if you want to stick to a canadian site, check out the vendors i listed.

thanks for the info

for a starter kit, to smoke the juices available on canvape.com what would you reccomend I start out with for now? (as I learn more I'll figure out how to create the eGo twist I'm sure! I do know the battery for it is available)

Genuine Joyetech

On that page, you will see the all the joyetech stuff, including the twist batteries. The batteries are sold separately, to make a setup with those, you would have to get 2 batteries, a charger, and some things to put on top of the batteries. Lots of good options, viva novas, kangers, stardusts..

It might be simpler to get a kit though, the ego-c upgrade kits are nice. You can switch from 3.3v, to battery voltage on them. If you look at their kits sections, you will find other brand ego's. Nothing wrong with getting a riva kit, my friend just got the stardust custom kit, which are greensound batteries i think, and is liking it. They have a coupon for 5% off, i think it is FIRSTORDER or firstorder . Something like that anyway, also you can get free shipping if you push your order over $100.

You can't really go wrong no matter what you choose. I don't think you are seeing vapeable e liquid though, it is just flavoring. With that stuff, you would have to order nicotine and other supplies from somewhere else, and i seriously don't think you'd want to get into that right now. DIYing juice is fun, but don't get ahead of yourself. I'll pm you some juice recommendations, we aren't allowed to make lists here.

I have the joyetech 510 auto batteries and Kanger Horizontal coil cartos for my anolog equivalents but after watching lots of reviews and comparisons it looks like the Smoov 808d's provide the best voltage and time for a auto battery. I would like to try the Boge Cartos or the ikenvape cartos as they are better reviewed then the Kangers but anything that keeps me off the anologs is great.

My main goto right now is a 1000 mah eGo-C with a Vivi Nova v2.5 w/3.5ml tank. I am going to get an ego-twist for it to get a bit more voltage for the higher resistance coils, but I see a Provari in my future.
