is there supposed to be a pin that goes up into the atomizer to carry juice? REO NOOB

If your going to use adapters you should understand how they work how to adjust them properly . If the center post in a adapter protrudes more then a standard atomizer you can short your mod. I dont like adapters there for advanced users only . Adapters + a rba with a adjustable center post = smoked mod unless you no what your doing .

You got the answer by others already. :) The last needle fed bottomfeeder I remember seeing was the old wetbox. :)

My one and only Phidias, from over a year ago, has a needle to atty. Although it is a pretty box I hated the needle system and doG knows it couldn't take any of the leaps onto hard surfaces my Woodvils like to do. And swimming:eek: WOOD REOs are probably the only wood box that can go "swimming" unscathed!!!!!

I consider myself an advanced user, I've been vaping for about a year and a half. I have quite a few APV's, but this REO is my first bottom feeder. I have experience with adapters, mainly 510 extensions.

I don't like internet posts, THEY'RE (see what I did there.) for advanced spellers only. :)

Oh yeah I forgot about that one. I never owned Phidias but didn't you have to turn them upside down...something about gravity fed? Like I said never owned one.

EDIT: Wasn't that a father son business? I won't say anything negitive because I might be confusing mod makers up plus Lisa would hang me from my bad ankle.

Josh, you know that redeyedancer (Rob) is the guy who makes REOs, right? :)

Not sure if father and son. Maker is Phono. Major nice man. Beautiful work but as I stated, you have to be very protective of wood boxes that are several glue joined pieces. One of my minor WOOD REO splats onto hard flooring, virtually not phasing a REO, would have a Phidi in multiple pieces and some possibly breaking of wood and just not at joins.

The needle feeder system is not only too much hassle but very prone to leaking and mess. Only way to keep the early (and maybe still ongoing) BF Phidi from leaking requires a mod that kind of works.

Phono made mine a lefty and did a bit of custom work for the wood feed button. I just don't have the "heart" to let it go although I used it for only a week over a year ago. I was way spoiled by REO Woody by then.

so an atty with no hole in the center (510 male) connector won't work on a reo grand?
see, I have an ERA V2 and the center pin on it doesn't have a hole but a slit just like the head of a flat screw ---
will it work on the reo grand?

So just how does the reo delivers the ejuice to the atty?
does the juices fills the juice well first then up it goes in the atty while one sucks on it? (didn't sound right... i guess)

sorry to hijack this thread and if some folks already sees the same question I'm asking on the other reo threads...

I wish... There's a clone of the dripper ERA for like 10 bucks. And bottom feeding ones are original only, $75

There is one that is a little less than $40 US including shipping and it is all steel. It fits the Mini. I have two on the way. The only one available at this time is the one called "without resistance" which means it does not come pre-coiled. As the eBaron Spiral (fits only the VVG and VV and a few Woodvil cups) and the Killer (fits everything) are my favorite RBAs I'm pretty sure I'm going to be thrilled with the mcARB. It uses the ceramic cup like the Greek RBAs. The ceramic cups are common cups found in CE2s.

This is very interesting, Feisty. I've never seen or heard of this one. Please post some sort of a review once you get them!

Will do of course. It is very similar build to Leo's Greek RBAs. The top cap is fitted on instead of threaded if I'm remembering correctly. Major thing is it is short and fits all the REO wells and catch cups and low priced for a high end RBA.

I have little doubt I'm going to love them.

Yup, the design seems a bit strange compared to 705. I don't understand the purpose of fitted top as opposed to threaded, considering that air intake is at the bottom. But, on the other hand, it looks prettier to me than 705. Sure you can't stick it into a carto tank, but I care fairly little about that :)

I think the cost of machining threads adds considerably to the cost. That's probably why the mcARB cost so much less.

As far as differences..... last night I discovered two silicone small pieces of tubing used for insulator for positive center pins in Killer. Untill last night I hadn't fully broken Killer down. One tubing insulator is around center pin of base and similar around center pin of adapter. Everything separated when I was struggling to get a fused on ceramic cup off. I had to break it and will need to use dremel to remove the fused on "ring" of ceramic. This is the one I vaped for 5 weeks on stock coil. I torched it several times a week. Gonna rethink on that. I do have plenty of CE2 laying around for cup but I don't want to damage center pin.

So the two may not be all that different in build.
