Hey Guys

I'm looking to replace my current device, I think the batteries for it are going out (obviously I could buy new batteries but I want a device thats a bit bigger in style so it isn't so easy to knock over). When I was looking at new devices to get I had the thought, I never leave my desk so is it possible there is a device out there that can run pretty much by being plugged in all the time?

I've been using a Sigelei Mini Book since it was suggested to me 1 1/2 years ago on this forum. Last time there were a lot of suggestions for Provape but they don't seem to be doing stuff anymore.

There are probably tons of good TC Mods I was looking at Wismec and Smok but before I purchased I just wondered if anyone runs their ecig via USB almost exclusively or if its just there to passively charge the batteries?

Also, if a device has more batteries (I assume for higher volts) but I'm running at a low setting, would it last longer between charges. I use TC to try and get a consistent vape and to not have to mess with all the various settings.

Lastly if there are any suggestions for a good top fill TC tank I'm all ears. My 2 Kangers and my Sigelei X tank all seem to suffer from leaking out the air holes after a short while, maybe this problem can't be prevented but I'm always looking for a good alternative especially if its a big tank that I don't need to refill often.

Thanks

Dont have any immediate suggestions but the buzz phrase you need to look for is 'bypass mode' or similar. If that isnt in the specs its probably not a good idea to do it. Im sure there are many that will fit your particular requirements though!!
Not bypass but pass through mode.. bypass mode is unregulated mode for use on regulated mids.

Many if not all mods with On board charging can do this...

Your just best off getting a mod that has good battery life, then you've no need to charge.
I get a full day out of my pico when I'm out & it's only a single cell.
When I'm at home I get a full day out of a dual mod at higher wattage.
I might also add I vape very heavily...
You'll get a full day out of most mods you use, but I'd suggest getting an external battery mod then you can replace the batteries with some fully charged ones.
I'd never suggest pass through & don't even know why it would be a thing.

I don't know what constitutes a full-day of use since everyone is different. Even when my batteries were new I would get maybe 1/3 a day but I vape a tremendous amount.

I did a little searching and I didn't find anything called an External Battery Mod, if its just a battery charger then I have several.

I also did searching for mods with good battery life, it seems to suggest that one holding multiple batteries is the solution. I've been eyeing the Wimsec RX200 and I suppose now is a good time to move forward on it.

I only get a day out of my pico cos I vape at 13 watts when out an about.

& external battery mod isn't a particular type, means any mod that tales removable batteries.

I have a rx200s which is the RX200 with a bigger screen & I have the rx2/3 which can be used with 2 batteries or 3 batteries.
They are very good mods, I'm currently eyeing the rx300 4 battery mod.
It's very heavy but would give good battery life.
If you get the RX200 would be worth getting 6 batteries. That way you have some spare batteries to chuck in when your first 3 die.
I've had much more reliability from wismec mods than smok. They are amongst my favourites so I say go for it!

I was just looking at the RX2/3. I will get all new batteries for it, I only have as 2 battery charger so I'm going to have to upgrade to the i4. I'll see if I can find an RX300, the usual places I buy from are out of stock on it though.

Thanks for the info for sure.
