Is this a bad idea? Evic & Caravela

So today i purchased a Caravela, i had previously owned an Evic. While messing with the caravela i had my evic on my desk and got an idea... i basically put the tube of the caravela onto the evic ( screwed the evic head onto the tube of the caravela and screwed the evic endcap on the bottom of the caravela) seems to work fine! is this a bad idea? should i not charge my batteries this way?

I've bought and used a few other brands of "battery holder tube" where the threads match the Evic controller threads. The key between switching "tubes" and "end caps" is if the threading is compatible. If so, there should be no problem. If your topper is firing, it is making sufficient contact with the battery to work.....and to be charged with the charge connection on the controller.

I bet that Caravela tube looks pretty snazzy with the Evic head. Enjoy.

This definately "pimps out" the evic, though it does look wierd with the thread cover on it, pics will be uploaded tonight

I put a new flat top cap on mine and it made a world of difference. I luv it. I just saw some for sale recently, too, but heck if I can remember where. They were moderately priced too.

i uploaded the pics from my iphone onto my computer, but when i try to upload them onto the forum it keeps saying upload failed idk i tried guys

I use a place called Photobucket. It's free and works well for on-line posting. It is easy to set up and download to Photobucket from your computer. Then, they give you the IMG codes to work on forums.

There are probably better sites, but that one was quite popular at one time and I've just stayed there.
