Been married 18 years and still using the same "temporary" engagement set my husband and I picked up at Walmart for 150.00. Thats pathetic huh! I've spent more on everything! If your fiance doesn't mind then you shouldn't either. I just got 2 beagles for my son for 40 bucks so obviously my tastes are cheap, lol. In lieu of expensive wedding rings we're gonna get tattoos instead.. maybe this anniversary.

edit: I do have a 450 dollar West Highland Terrier, but she's still a cheap ol' B.

Off topic it was. My apologies. Have a good weekend, and I hope you guys enjoy your new pup.

No worries. You weren't forcing your opinion and causing it to be the main topic instead. No hard feelings at all. And thanks, she's a great pup. Came from a home that just couldn't have a puppy (not a mill or breeder, just their own lil puppy) as a family member had just gotten cancer and they didn't have time for her and wanted her to go to somebody who did. I call that a good cause :)

That's good to hear then. I guess it's all just a matter of priorities. I think my fiancee and I are both of the opinion that jewelry shouldn't be a higher priority than a living creature :) Glad to know there are others out there who have at least done the same as me though lol.

Yes it is. No one could ever argue with that.
