Hello guys,

I'm a pipe smoker, because I just love to try out different tastes and so on.
I discovered E-cigars and the many e-liquid combinations that you can make if you DIY, and I want to try out.

I'm from Portugal and so I had choosen an European store: E-Liquid

This is my basket in the shop:

1x DSE 901 (including 2 batteries and 2 atomizers)
25x blank carts for DSE 901
1x PG 30ml - 24mg/ml nicotine
1x PG 100ml - no nicotine
1x VG 100ml - no nicotine

And a few syringes and droppers to store my combinations.

I also want to buy some flavours, but in that site there are flavourart and perfumers apprentice flavours. Flavourart is far more expensive, but is it really better?

And overall, is this a good choice?

That looks like a good place to start. I started with the 510 and I was happy with it for over a year.
As for juices, you have to decide what you like. I did not get into trying my own mixes for quite some time.

I also was a pipe smoker, and I still have a LOT of tobacco aging in my cellar. One day that tobacco may pay for my retirement.

Where I usually am
Flavors..... Depends on your taste. I have about 20 or so
I don't even use and thought for sure I would... Maybe one
day I will figure out what to mix them with
I also recommend checking out the recipes on this site and
see what others are mixing up. Might help you decide

what nicotine level are you aiming for? the reason i ask, is that 30mls of 24mg nicotine liquid is a good choice for a beginner if you're planning on making juice that is lower than 24mgs...but if you're planning on making 24mg liquid, or close to that, maybe not such a good choice...as since nicotine is the most expensive part of DIY, ordering it higher in strength and then mixing it down with plain PG and/or VG is much more cost effective...

however, it's also potentially much more dangerous -- as you must make sure you measure accurately so you don't accidentally put in too much (the free online e-liquid calculators are very helpful)...and, the use of protective gloves is imperative when handling high strength liquid nicotine (ECF says anything higher than 36mgs).

As I said, I'm not really an addicted smoker, so I will make my e-liquids without nicotine or with a low amount (6 to 8 mg/ml), so that 24mg/ml PG will be enough.

But thank you for the reminder.

About my last question, should I pick the riva 901 or should I pick the dse 901?
