HI everyone,

I've done quite a few hours of research this weekend and just purchased my first PV. This is what I got and where I got it:

evcigarettes.com
Riva ego starter kit which included:
Genuine Eastmall Brand RiVa (eGo)
2x Manual Battery (750 mAh)
2x EM-RiVa (eGo) 510 Atomizer (2.3 ohm +/- 0.1 ohm)
1x EM-RiVa (eGo) 510 Atomizer Cone
10x Blank Joye 510 Round-Tip Cartridges
1x EM-RiVa USB Fast Charger (only takes 2 hours to fully charge a battery)
1x Wall Charger
Available colors are Black, White and Titanium (Gold) - Blue LED Button for all colors
I also ordered 2 drip tips (delrin and aluminum), a case, and the pack came with 3 liquids 10mL. Is there anything I'm missing here? or should purchase sooner than later as to not run out?

After making the purchase I realized the liquids were PG based and I'm curious what peoples' opinions are in regards to PG vs VG. I understand VG is thicker and can gunk up atties, but what is the flavor or lack of flavor difference between the 2?

I'm hearing that drip is the way to go, but my lifestyle doesn't exactly cater to dripping all day long. I go to school full-time and work so I need something I can bust out like an analog, take 5 puffs and head to my next class. Could I get away with using a cart or a carto and retain a decent vapor?

I'm also looking for a good liquid supplier where I can try both PG and VG and mixes. There are a ton of option, but very little insight into what produces thick, consistent quality vapor with good flavor.

That's a lot, I know, but this subject has really begun to fascinate me! Thanks for your help!

Cartomizers can definitely produce as much vapor. Personally I like carto's better than dripping. I get much more consistant vape off cartos. So it sounds like this might be the best route for you.

As for liquid, well there are a lot of vendors that produce a blend of PG and VG in different percentages. PG will hold the flavor and give you a better throat hit. It's also easier on cartomizers IMO. But VG gives you more vapor and a smoother hit. Doesn't irritate the throat as much. Hence the reason many liquid vendors produce a blend. Trying to get the best of both worlds.

I would suggest that you buy more juice. 30mls can run out pretty quick.

PG is what gives you throat hit. The more PG, the stronger the TH.
VG is what produces more vapor, adds some sweetness and smooths out the juice. It can sometimes gunk at your atty, but if you take care of them it shouldn't matter too much. I vape 50/50 mixes most of the time and I haven't had any issues. VG can mute some flavors, especially when it's used at higher percentages.

I suggest both VaporBomb and Gourmet Vapor for juice. They have lots of flavors and you can choose the mix ratio you want.

I vape 70PG/30VG which is also a popular ratio, as is 80PG/20VG.

BTW - The flavor will also affect TH. Within the same vendor, same ratio, same nicotine, some flavors will have a lot of TH, some medium, some low.

There are so many good juice vendors. I am fond of Backwoods Brew (70PG/30VG). Their Casablanca is my first all-day vape. But it's probably not what you are looking for. I was a lights smoker of lights with a good amount of cocoa in them and that's why Casablanca seems familiar to me.

Many like FreedomSmokeUSA - you can get a variety of ratios there.

VaporsEtc has a really really cheap sampler - I think 5 tiny bottles for about $6 total? (I think only in 18mg nic)

Gourmet Vapor may be still having a 40% sale with code GV40

Hey there,

Thanks for all the help. I wanted to clarify; I'm not looking for a tobacco flavor, but would like thick, THing vapor. PS are there any model specific help videos for the riva ego?

Avejuice.com - once they have Boba's Bounty back in stock, you'll definitely want to give it a try. It's a 100%VG juice so its thicker than what you've probably seen so far. I'd suggest dripping this juice due to the thickness. You'll get clouds of vapor, and the flavor is something you'll have to experience for yourself. Start off with a sample bottle and if you like it order something larger (hopefully it doesn't run out by then :))
