Is this a good deal on a vamo?

So I currently have a vtr which I love, but I'm looking to try new tanks and whatnot that don't fit on the vtr.

I saw this vamo on eBay and seems like a good deal with 2 batteries. Problem is, I don't know much about battery types and I'm nervous to get something cheap and have any sort of issue. Can anyone tell if this is worth buying?

Thanks!

I don't recommend using the batteries or charger that come in any starter kits that come from China. Good ones aren't that pricey. I recommend buying a single Vamo and then getting a well known charger and batteries separately. AW IMR batteries are good, although I don't know if the Vamo uses button top batteries or not. Also, the Sony VTC4 or 5 batteries are good. For a charger, I've heard good things about the Nitecore i2 or i4 chargers.

LOL - Not for Mechanical Mods anyway.
Regulated mods not so much a problem. I have been running 18350 Ultrafires in my eVics for 18 months.
Regulated handles the protection, as well as the built in protect circuit and they last 1.5 hours longer than my IMR 18350's

Anyway, I agree - Vamo Stand alone and IMR Batteries with a good charger.
Nitecore 4 bay intellicharger can be had for $17.

When you go Vamo - Get Stainless Steel for the most solid unit

The Vamo comes with different sized tubes, which allow for different sized batteries. You can use 18350's for the smallest size, and either one 18650 for the largest size or two 18350's stacked for the largest size. If you decide to stack batteries, label those two 18350's and always use those two together, as well as charge them together. Some people here will tell you you shouldn't stack them at all for safety reasons, but I've heard that the Vamo has some regulated protection for stacked batteries. Really though, you may as well just stick to a single 18650 for the largest tube unless you really need the added amps from stacked batteries. If you're a typical vaper and not a cloud chaser, most typical vapers like to vape between 8 and 10 watts, which a single 18650 should be able to handle without a problem.

For battery brands, I'm not familiar with flat tops unfortunately. Aside from my MVP, all my mods use button top batteries, and for those I've only purchased the red AW IMR batteries. I think my mech could fire a flat top, but since I already had the button top for my Provari, that's what I use in my mech.
