Is this a PG allergy?

I'm not so sure this is an allergic reaction or not. There are two symptoms I'm worried about. The most noticeable is that the skin on my fingers is peeling. This could be from my first attempts at refilling. I made a mess. I got gloves, but it's a pain to put gloves on every time I want to top off a carto. This happened to me once before while handling undiluted Pine-sol (it strips paint without damaging plastic, if you're wondering why). Is this an allergy to vaping or a only because of skin contact?

The second issue has to do with a shoulder injury. I slept bad on my shoulder and had muscle pain for a week. Part of the shoulder blade is now numb for some reason. Frankly, I don't mind the numbness, it's fading, it's just odd. However, after vaping a few puffs I notice that the tingling will increase in the numb area.

Anyone have any thoughts?

How much nicotine? Nicotine is a skin irritant and a vasoconstrictor so it's possible it caused both symptoms. MY fingertips sometimes get a bit numb if I vape too much. If your shoulder is swollen or bruised then maybe constriction of blood vessels could be more apparent there? I am just guessing. Re the peeling skin, I have gotten that on my face from getting juice on my fingers and only wiping it off then touching my face.

That's no fun. I'm sorry that's happening to you.

Tell us more about the skin peeling- is it blistering and peeling, or just peeling. How far down does the peeling go- is it raw and painful or just the top layer?? Have you made any other changes to your routine other than vaping? Did the peeling/reaction happen right after you touched juice or did it take a while?

What flavor juice was it? Something like cinnamon could be causing it too.

You can tell if you're dehydrated by pinching a little bit of skin on the back of your hand- if it snaps back quickly you're probably OK. If it doesn't then you're dehydrated.

If it is an allergy try taking some Tagament (the stomach acid stuff)- it functions like Benedryl but without making you tired. If you feel better when you take an anti-histamine then it's an allergy.

Is there something about your posture or the way that you vape that could be causing a pinched nerve to tingle? Try switching hands and see what happens.

PG does metabolize into lactic acid in the body- so you might feel a little achy because of it. It's the same ache you get when you have a hangover.

Gee, I have no idea about the fingers or shoulder, I dislocated my should last year and it gets sore sometimes, weather maybe?!! As for the fingers, I have dripped juice before and never had that happen, could just be overdry skin? I agree, vaping does dehydrate you a little and lots of water will help that. Guess lotion on the hands would hep too.
