Is this a safe battery and if so...

Hey everyone, just a quick question. So I was given a CLRD NCA18650-E28 2800mah 35amp high drain 18650 battery the other day by my uncle to use in my KBOX Nano. it seems like it'd be a good battery to use assuming that the specs on it are correct. I was just wondering if these are safe to use? and also, if they are, what is the lowest ohm coil I could use safely?

I have never heard of that battery, but there does not exist a 35 amp battery. In a best case scenario it's a 20 amp battery, which would be ok. Could you post a picture of it?

will post a picture in a minute. Also I know that a 35A does not exist. 35A is the Pulse Discharge Rate. The Continuous Discharge Rate for most batteries, from what I have seen is 20A.

The specs are not correct, it's true capacity is closer to 2500 - 2600 mah, 20 a CDR that gets warmer than it should when pushed to 20a.

Just me, I wouldn't use it in an application over 14a - 15a.

according to the calculator on Battery mAh & C Rating = amp Calculator, my current setup draws right around between 9.5A-10.8A..

CLRD Yellow 35A 2800mAh 18650 Bench Test Results...only a 20A/2500mAh battery

It will work ok in your Nano, no danger. But something like the LG HG2 or Samsung 30Q will give you longer vaping time before charging.
