Since the resistance is raising as it heats up the wire they installed is probably supposed to used in one of the temp control modes on that Evic and should not be used in power mode. If you can put the Evic in temp control for Nickel around 400 degrees and see if that makes any difference in behavior to what your experiencing. If it doesn't kick you out of TC mode and switch back to power then that's one step in the right direction if it does switch back to power mode try the Titanium temp control mode. It is definitely not healthy to vape any of these wires that's meant for temp control on power mode they can build up a unhealthy oxide that you can breath in.
Do you know exactly what kind of wire is being used for your coils? Can you please post a picture for us, that will really help in identifying what wire is being used for what specific application and can help us identity a short which can be dangerous and possibly cause the battery to vent and cause some damage to the device and can physically harm you. If you can't do any of these please stop using it and go back to the shop, have them take a look, I would have them rebuild with Kanthal, find out what wire was used and ask for as much in depth info about all wires and there applications of use and how to apply those to your Evic.
Be careful and hope you get the proper help from the shop if you feel they might not be knowledgeable and didn't give you enough info visit another shop and ask for there help and for any additional info and tips they can offer, then come back and update us and also search here to find out more about the topics they discuss with you.
