Is this an okay set up?

I'm not new to vaping, I have been vaping for almost a year, though I fell back to stinkies not long ago after my ego battery fell apart on me one day. Pay day just came up and decided to get 2 new set ups, one for my husband and one for myself.

I bought the Vamo V5 kit, Kanger protank 3, a pack of CE5 wickless clearo's, and a few heads/coils for all of them.

For my husband we bought the SmokTech SID with the IGO-W3 5 post dripper, and some supplies for rebuilding his. Right now I am dripping off his SID with a nasty tasting copper IGO-W clone, drilled, until my supplies come in. I also have a bunch of juice ordered.

I just want to make sure none of these will mysteriously fall apart on us like my ego-T did. I only want to spend money on new mods to play with, not spend money to replace them.

Hello, the vamo kit seems like a good setup. As for the SID you can't fire coils below 1.3 ohms, so builds have to above that to fire. Fir that igo dripper you really need a mech or device with just battery and no electronics. Plus an ohm meter to check your build so your safe. Lastly good batteries if you get a mech.

I would run pt3 or pt2 on each and get a mech fir the dripper.

looks like a good setup overall, i went from cartos to clearos to protank 2 + aerotank base, then i learned to rebuild the protank with a micro coil and cotton wick (sweet), then i moved on to KFL/russian and I haven't looked back. I agree with Sthur, if you get a good dripper that doesnt taste bad and a decent mech, even a nemi clone or something, he'll be happy. you should be pretty happy with that vamo setup, if the protank 3 doesnt have the draw you want, you can go KFL/russian or go with a protank 2 + an aerotank base, it opens up the draw quite a bit. vape on!

Sounds good; I'm curious about the ce5 wickless clearos though; do you have a link?

I think your suppose to clean the RDA's because of the machining residue that can be left behind on them. I have a Vamo 2 and really enjoy it so the Vamo 5 should be great. I have no experience with the SID. I use cartotanks and just now ventured into RBA's and RDA's which I'm enjoying greatly. I just, just ordered a Chi Clone tonight so I can vape anything I build, :).
