Is this like a beta test or something?

I don't think of it as a beta test, I think of it as a constant evolution! They were trying to improve what they had, but with CNY coming they couldn't get all the details sorted out. They both worked, but weren't equal. To meet demand they went ahead and produced both to keep us vaping, with plans to incorporate the best of both designs into one, as I am certain they are.
They really have their .... in a wringer right now, trying to develop better products, yet having to meet the demands of an ever growing and more demanding consumer. All while trying to expand in house to meet the demands placed on shipping here.
I don't envy them at all right now!

Yeah that breakage problem solved thanks to adrenn. But wierdness i just got premium catos of dunhall. Like the hardies with softies caps. Really wierd huh? I got a hybrid. No glue inside as long and thin as the hardies but with the rubber end caps??? they are dunhall premiums at 36mg. I would post a pic but it keeps saying failure to get path of my pics. Trying to figure it out! stay tuned!

I have only tried the premiums with the hard caps to date, is there a consensus that they do not last as long? It would make sense if the juice volume is the same but more vapor. I will have to break down and get some fruity premiums to try the soft cap version. I've seen lots of posts on general flavor and performance reviews, but am very curious to see if others notice a shorter lifespan on either version. Thanks in advance!

BTW, thanks Nilius for reposting Leaford's video; I think that should be on the welcome mat sticky to help reduce the proliferation of "what's a premium cart" posts (which have replaced the "where's the juice" threads).

I've just gotta say it. IMHO - the factory making the cartos with a hard carp has what I feel is the better atomizer design.

There, I wrote it once, got it off my chest, and now I'm letting it go for all time. ;)

It has been my experience, too. I already singed two softies, and I was being very careful. Burnt center, plenty of juice left inside. Room for improvement?

Always. But I know V4L pays a ton of attention to all the results. They wisely just do it quietly. I've seen sooo many things we've observed and suggested get chewed up, digested, and spit back out as design enhancements, even in the few months I've been here.

I keep thinking I need to tone down the science content a bit, but then something I've spent an amount of dissecting suddenly materializes into, well, material changes and it just seems more worthwhile. And not just my own, but others as well.

beta test or evolution--same diff in the case of pv's. like 'lynn says in her last posts: we're shaping the industry ourselves, which is a pretty cool experience. obviously consumers shape industry generally, but we have the opportunity to do this while vaping is still in the preliminary stages, while a relatively small consumer base can get their opinions directly to suppliers and distributors.
