Is this normal?

Hi all,
I seem to be having a problem with my batteries, is it normal for a battery to suddenly stop working on one atomizer and keep running fine on another, what could cause that? battery seems fine lights up no problem but 2 of my batteries stopped working but 1 still works in another atomizer, the other doesn't work in any anymore?? this is on my DSE103 I also noticed this on my 901 too.
any advice.....

Sounds like it might be the connectors. The spongy plastic seals may have worn and are no longer springing the central cap out far enough to make contact, if you see what i mean.

can this be fixed, I only used them for a few days not even a week, started messing up right after removing it from the charger, if its not too hard might be worth it.

battery does seem fine, lights up just doesn't spark up the atomizer

i can't think of a simple way off hand. I'd send them back perhaps. Someone who knows more about this will hopefully reply soon.

There is a cheap fix but it's dangerous. A tiny piece of aluminum foil made into a tiny ball with a little point on one side. put the point into the center hole of the atomizer. This keeps the foil from shifting when you screw on the battery.

Disclaimer. If you don't get it perfect you Will short the battery and blow it up or catch it on fire. You have been warned. Try this at your own risk.

i posted this in another thread but its relevent here :

The reason behind some batteries not working is the height of the center contact in relation to the thread length.



I've had brand new classic batteries ( RN4072) where the center contact is too low and doesnt make sufficicient contact with the ( RN4072) atomizer contact. You can draw on it and the LED lights up but because the circuit isnt made it doesn't play ball.

I even tried reducing the thread length on the battery to allow it to screw in further and make center pole contact but the atomizer just bottoms out on the battery before contact is made.

Suggest if you get a battery that works but doesn't work ( if you know what i mean) just return it for a replacement , it can't be rectified, and i don't think its a cross compatibilty problem, just general bad factory Q.C.

My bad, That works for the manual switch. The other fix is to carefully pry up the center pole of the atomizer with a tiny screwdriver. Or a 1/8 inch piece of paperclip bent at a 90 degree angle so it wont fall in the hole. It will allow airflow past it. The atomizers vent through the sides or "edges" of the threads, the center is to activate the vacuum switch.

Or just send it back if you can wait.

ok, now that I can vapor while I'm at my computer....
( I couldn't smoke in the house before and the smoke is bad for the computer)

... I keep smoking my pen by accident instead of my e-cig! LOL..
no doubt smoking the pen would be worse for my health...
