I have what I believe is the RN4075 atomizer and battery. I recently bought what I believe is a DSE901 battery because it was the cheapest I could find. The new battery is slightly shorter than the old one.

It acTually seemed to work more smoothly, until yesterday when it just stopped powering the atomizer properly. The light still comes on, but no vapor is produced; the other battery still works fine with the atomizer.

Someone in another thread suggested to another person that they pull the round thing farther out at the battery-end of the atomizer. I did this, but it still didn't work with the new battery but then stopped working with the original battery as well. I pushed it back in and it worked for the original one, so it is still fine.

It doesn't seem that adjusting the atomizer will help my problem, but is there anything else I can do? And does the battery come forward at all, because I have tried pulling it and it hasn't really moved and I don't want to break it.

Do you only have one atomizer?

If you have 2, it helps to mix and match to see what the problem is. I had something similar....both batteries lit up but the atomizer only worked with one. But when I tried a second atomizer, I found that also worked on the one battery only. Turns out the second battery was bad even though it lit up. But I only knew that because I was able to test 2 atomizers.

the problem is nearly always the center contacts.. they have to come together and make good electrical contact.. often they dont..

these things are not all exactly the same.. they vary mainly in the depth of the center contact.. the outside parts cannot fail to touch each other.. the center parts can and often do fail to contact properly.. plus the chinese keep altering them as they go along.. brass bits from different factories differ from other factories even for the same make of e cig..

one with a center piece that sticks out more can push the other center piece farther in..

swapping atomizers about is not a good idea.. fit one and stick to it..

also make sure the center pieces are clean.. a kind of glaze can build up on them as well as e liquid grease..

yes i got one. i think this has happened to me before. get your shirt and clean both atomizer and battery ( the gold part) and rub it real good. and then put it back together and it should work properly again.

I have a battery that stopped making good contact about a week ago. I just assumed it was defective, so when I got no response from Njoy concerning a warranty replacement, I ordered a battery from another site.

It wasn't until I read this post that I remembered I purchased some pipe cleaners for the express purpose of cleaning my batteries.

Guess what?

My "defective" battery is good as new.

Thanks for jogging my memory!
