I've got my three rechargers all plugged in and conveniently lined up in a row. Can I leave them plugged it and then just attach the e-cig when they're ready to charge or does it hurt to leave the rechargers plugged in?
I don't see how it would hurt the charger to stay plugged in. That is what I do anyway and have never had any trouble with any charging devices I've ever owned. Including my e-cigs.
anything left plugged in will still draw some current even if not used so other then a small increase in you BGE bill nothing wrong. Also moving out of newbie forum to the general section
I also leave mine plugged in, I also leave my phone charger plugged in all the time and my computer monitor on, although it goes into standby mode after 15 minutes of non use.
If you plug them into a power strip, you can turn off the switch when not charging anything or buy a Kill a Watt device that will automatically switch them off to save on energy costs.
I never leave my pv chargers plugged in without a battery in because i keep thinking that my kitty will stick his nose or paw in it and get zapped! He's very nosy, snooping around all the time, i wouldn't put it past him!
