The more things change, the more they stay the same.
I've been vaping a little over two years. I started out with an original rough stack, some really bad juice, and a cheap 510 atty. I used that for about 10 months before I even knew what I was using was called a rough stack (I did, however, find some better juice almost immediately and I found slightly better attys where i was getting my juice)... After discovering the forums, I started buying a lot of other stuff.
Before I end up typing half a dozen paragraphs, I think I'll just get to my point: Indeed there have been some wonderful innovations the last couple of years. That's true as true can be. However (and I should really bold type the "however"), there is a hold up... a snag... the elephant in the room: Batteries. Battery technology advancements are not trickling down fast enough for these sorts of devices. When the batteries we use become 75% smaller, 75% lighter, and have 300% more energy density, then things will change very much for the better. Until then, we have to make due with what we have and our devices will either remain large, heavy, and conspicuous - or they will remain small and not very versatile. The "golden age" will come when battery technology improves.
