I have a 510 and am topping off constantly. I use the blue foam, and the cart is full of juice, yet I have to top off every 5-10 drags. Is this normal?
Is this the norm?

It was for me... even with the white filler..... the 510 is great for flavor, TH, and vapor... but I got tired of the hassle....
If you are constantly hitting it or numerous times in a row, you are probably drying out the wick before it can replenish. In this case, you almost have to drip. The wicking just can't keep up, at least in my experiences that's what I've found.
See my Mod on the 801 HV Atty on the GG forum, it can be used on any atty and cart and will really allow the perfect amount of juice onto your Atty, especially if you just use the grommet with no blue foam... Hope it helps
Maybe that's part of the problem I've been having with my No.7 Micro! It goes real nice the first few puffs, but if I do more than 4 or 5, it poots out on me, even with plenty of juice in the cart, but the filler seems dry up top.
Patience is not my thing. So do you just pop a drop on the filler to get it goin' again?
I have been using the PTB mod for all my carts and no longer have that problem. You might give that a try. Happy Vaping!
I had this same problem with the M401 (never tried 510 but I think it's similar). You may want to look into the KR808D-1 which uses cartomizers that last longer.
Terrie1 - I direct drip mostly these day cos I hit mine so hard it doesn't wick fast enough - probably - so I'm topping off all the time. Direct dripping, while meaning I have to top off more, gives me super taste n vapor etc so I'm sort of with that now (until someone smart here can find something that can keep up with my vaping speed! lol)

same with me, i have a 501 on my silverbullet, and was constantly topping off. now, i just cut the end of the 501 cart and drip right on to the atomizer. it works better for home, havent decided what to do about that when im out and about, and dripping isnt really easy, like while driving.
I usually keep three PVs at the ready and rotate. And, I hope the Juice Box makes this unnecessary ... when it finally arrives.
In a way it is like hot-boxing an analog. If you hit it to many times in a row, it can't wick the fluid fast enough. Take a couple of hits let it sit for a couple minutes, then you can hit it again.

ive just recently been keeping 2 going at the same time.very good but still wondering about carts
Instead of laying your PV flat when you're not using it stick it in a cup or a shot glass. This helps keep the liquid closer to the wick. I always have 3 or 4 sitting in a cup with different flavors and one with 0 nic for when I've been vaping too much.
